Pique is completely drunk as you can see and Fabregas actually tells him to do it. Why is there no mention of Fabregas? Jealousy is an ugly trait.

From the World Cup thread, because it's being locked soon:

I bet Liverpool or in fact any other club has hardly ever considered that let alone do it. Barcelona is far from arrogant just because 2 players put a shirt on Fabregas do not blame the whole club for it.

What about Villa and Acorn?

Also Sheffield Wednesday and the Sheffield children's hospital.

Most clubs do lots of charity and community work, but they don't trumpet it/have it trumpeted as much as Barcelona.

How much have they donated and how many years? This not about just the one off charity, this is a long term agreement not 1 year. Name 1 big club from the premiership along the status of Barcelona that has done the same?

For your information it was UNICEF that announced the whole financial bit and Barcelona just nodded never trumpeted like you're saying.

Also, I'll remember next time I'm at my works christmas party, it'll be alright to spit at an elderly colleague from behind because I'm completey drunk. Especially if my mate eggs me on to do it.

What the strawberry float has jealousy got to do with this anyway? You live in your own little world sometimes.

Comparing your Christmas party to the celebration of winning the world cup, this is why I said stop being a moron.

Top marks for totally missing the point. What the celebration is for or where is totally irrelevant really. But don't let that stop you from trying to defend stupid behaviour though.

It's not a competition to see who can donate the most.

It's also not feasible to give up your major income stream for five years with the new financial rules, unless you're in a league where you and one other team receives a huge percentage of the television money.

The whole point was that they are not arrogant and they were the first team to start sponsoring a sponsorship. You then said :

They never did that.

The more Dblock tries to prove otherwise, the more I think Barcelona and their fans are arrogant.

How is sponsoring a charity proof that Barcelona aren't arrogant in the first place? It's irrelevant.

All I know is, is that being drunk, or winning the World cup, entitles you to spit on someone.

It shows that they are a good club who is willing to help even if it means paying out of their pockets, what else do you need a club to do? Its not irrelevant because I'm positive majority of the people did not know that bit but now they know it helps them understand/appreciate the club a little bit more. Unless you can prove/Rogueleader can prove that Barcelona is arrogant then I feel they are just trolling for the sake of it.

On 14 July 2006, the club announced a five year agreement with UNICEF, which includes having the UNICEF logo on their shirts. The agreement has the club donate €1.5 million per year to UNICEF (0.7 percent of its ordinary income, equal to the UN International Aid Target, cf. ODA) via the FC Barcelona Foundation.

Yeah, Barca are so selfless, paying 0.7 of their income out of their pockets

You doing it wrong

They still are donating 1.5m a year. I don't think you understand the point of charity.
