That's a list of Kelly's PL appearances. I don't see where Cahill was playing against many better sides than Utd, Spurs and Arsenal.

Yeah, Cahill only played against average sides like Barca and Bayern.

As I've said before, as one of my housemates suspects, Richards must have a serious attitude problem. He's a very good right back but it would make sense in terms of him being dropped by City and not picked by England.

Richards didn't get dropped, he got injured and Zabaleta stayed in the team. He also captained the side when Kompany was out this season.

The story about him refusing to go on the standby list was a Mirror "exclusive" so it's unlikely to be true.

Well then I'm baffled as to why he isn't in the squad.

I was reading about their last meeting in the Champions League - 4-3 to United at Old Trafford, absolutely amazing game with a Big Ron hat-trick. Zidane, Figo and Raul at their peak Apparently this was the match that Abramovich enjoyed so much it persuaded him to buy a football club.
