On the plus side we have got Kelly in the squad now
Though I have to admit it's got to the crazy stage where we really will be missing Rio.

Sad to sir Dirk leave Liverpool. A real trooper.

Glowy - how are you going to cope combining your support of England with your hatred of Liverpool? 6 players now!!
Don't end up going bi-polar on us :)

I don't care, its my country and my hatred of everything scouse is on hold until August

Would love to see him get his chance, if not this season then we should really think about loaning him out. Boy has talent.

It's good to see that the Euro's aren't getting in the way of Liverpool's Pre-Season tour of Ukraine and Poland.

So im doing some Youtube scouting of Sigurdsson, he plays the same position as Gerrard really right? Sort of floating around behind the striker?
For 7 million he's an absolute steal. compared to the 20 we spent on downing

Also, How many of you think that Hazzard will be a huge hit at Chelsea? I think he's going to have a bloody rude awakening, especially with the no nonsense defenders in the league.

Yep, plays same position as Gerrard pretty much.

Can score with both feet (from range) and has excellent set piece delivery. First touch can be a little suspect at times and although he's by no means slow could perhaps do with a tad more pace. Very difficult to get the ball off when he has it though and his passing his very precise. Adventurous too-lad his great vision (see his through ball to Graham in Swans 3-2 win against Arsenal)

WARNING WARNING WARNING .... COMMON SENSE IN FOOTBALL ALERT!!!!

This is bloody amazing! I'm watching Brazil vs Mexico (2-0 Mexico btw!!) ... Brazil get a free kick and Mexico construct a wall. The ref then walks the wall the 10 yards back and then sprays a quick line on the pitch with some foam stuff i.e. clearly marking out the point where they cant pass. Bloody simple, bloody effective. AMAZE!

Earlier in the season, when I was convinced Hazard was Citeh-bound, I was saying to friends I would love to have Siggy at Chelsea.

China are giving Spain one hell of a game at the moment. Casillas has had to make 2 or 3 really good saves but at the other end Spain have played some pretty neat one touch stuff. Can't believe the match is still 0-0 after the chances both sides have had.

My missus actually teared up a little when she found out dirk was going, she was and is a massive fan of his, read all about his family and stuff. Least he leaves liverpool as a legend still.

Whilst I'm surprised to see Kelly getting the call up, he has been a quality player for us so I don't think he'll let England down.

Really sad to see Dirk go.

Yeah, they trialled it in the Copa America last year as well. No idea why it hasn't come over here yet.

Surprised at that, he's good enough for a Premiership top 10 side at least.

I like it. Think it would look pretty sweet in a different colour though.
