Solution is to bin the "fair play handshake" altogether. It's pointless and football managed without it before 2004.

Am I? So Sepp Blatter right then, from now on, all abuse should be solved by a handshake. good one!!!

Don't even feel a little stupid defending his actions?

Suarez is the victim to one side of he argument. Some of you will do well to remember that. As far as we're concerned, Evra is a lying little gooseberry fool. Worse than Suarez having to serve his ban is the lies which have been said about him that will stick forever.

Blatter's point was that the whole racism issue could be solved with handshakes. The point is, handshakes don't solve the problem. However, it's just common decency, and it would send a good message out to fans and kids if they shook hands, rather than Suarez stirring up the issue again, sending out a bad message (i.e: You copped me for something I did wrong, now I will treat you badly)

What Sepp Blatter said was stupid. However, the FA do arrange handshakes before the game and Evra decides to let bygones be bygones. Suarez then refuses to shake hands, like he is the victim.

What a pathetic banana split (Suarez not Tiga).

I don't wanna take the focus off the game again but this is what annoys me the most. It's almost like Suarez is seen as the victim in all this and Evra's the bad guy.

On the pitch though it's a tough one to call at the moment, both teams have had decent half chances. And that ball the Spearing played would have been good for Bellamy to chase if he was out wide there.

Suarez is such a little gooseberry fool  I thought the issue would be whether Evra would shake his hand but I guess I should have known better :?

No one's saying the handshake will solve the abuse or make amends for what happens. It's common decency. Something Mr Suarez has shown he has a real lack of.

Fair enough you don't agree with my point but you're immature as strawberry float if you can't even consider it a valid one.

The whole "Saurez is the victim" argument falls down when all his action in this point to him not really believing he is the victim.

Regardless of what you say, Suarez is dragging your great club into the gutter with him.
