Attack the shitty Barca defence.

Pretty much this really. That and have belief that you can actually get something out of the game. There's been times in the last few years where you can tell teams already think they've lost before the game's got underway. General closing down as well, especially at Barca's defense because they like to play it on the ground from Valdes most of the time rather than hoof it up.

Teams are having a go. They know if they are defensive, Barcelona will eventually rip them apart. Just like they do at home.

Surprised Pep hasnt brought on one of Xavi, Iniesta or Fabregas.

Barca goal disallowed there...i can't tell if the Barca player actually got a flick on or not. If you're the linesman...from his position it probably looks like he did.

Yeah, we were great. Rampant. Exhibition stuff. Surprised at how you seemed to disintegrate, even with a weakened midfield.

An all round brilliant performance. Adebayor was on fire, Modric sublime, Parker and BAE outstanding. Louis Saha, signing of the Window. Even Ryan Nelsen put in a good shift when he came on.

 at Harry waving and smiling to the Toon fans chanting #You should be in jail, Harry Redknapp, You should be in jail#

Can anyone see where the live updates are on the BBC sport site now? There used to be an 'As it happened' link at the top.

Pienaar/Saha seems to already have worked out great for both parties. Really hope Spurs let Pienaar go on the cheap in the summer now.

Doubt it'll be up as the BBC Live Text was plagued with technical issues all day.

I saw 10/1 odds on Torres NOT to score again in the league this season. :shifty: With The Drog coming back soon i'd be tempted to jump on those odds the way things are going for Torres.

On a serious not, his place in the Spanish squad has GOT to be under threat as well. Del Bosque hinted the other day that Soldado might not even make it to the Euros :o

To talk about the football, I have to say that the return of Paul Scholes has just defied logic.

For the last couple of years, he has looked past it, a shadow of his former self, not capable of playing a full match in the modern game. He spends 6 months in retirement and suddenly he appears not only to have developed new legs, but his range of passing has returned over night. In fact I would go so far as to say he is passing the ball as well as I remember.
