Wonder which UEFA member is going on an all expense paid trip to Dubai?

:fp: Absolute joke.

Dejan Lovren has submitted a formal written transfer request demanding to leave Southampton.
Sportsmail Online can reveal that the central defender wrote an email to executive director Les Reed and chairman Ralph Krueger on May 30 with notice of his desire to leave St Mary's this summer.
In the email, the defender outlined his ambition to play Champions League football next season and wants to move this summer.

I wouldn't get too excited, that article gives absolutely zero evidence, and on the contrary Lovren himself said the following at the end of May...

"I feel great at Southampton and my contract is valid for the next three years.

"So the only thing I can say right now is that the club is the one who decides."

Either way, I don't think Southampton would let him leave. Daily Mail is a rag.

IF it could be done in a relative quick and seemless fashion then it would be worth it... Especially if they limit it to a maximum 2 calls per match...

Of course the timing of this announcement has nothing to do with Blatter's current issues ahead of an election...

Chelsea don't even need him.

Edit - actually, maybe, with Luiz and Lamps gone.

Cesc Fabregas' Twitter.

He's confirmed he's a Chelsea player now.

Aye it is.

At same time, it's sickening me as we did strawberry float all with the transfers so far. :fp:

I think we tried to hijack it at the last minute. We should have been bidding from the start. Does not bode well.

I cannot understand what is happening with United. Kroos looked lined up and has gone quiet. We flirted with Fabregas all last summer and did nothing when he was available this year. What a step up those two would have given our midfield. I thought we wanted to get our business done early this year. Well the World Cup is here and nothing.
