Bielsa is just bonkers.

His reaction to being accused of spying on Derby is to hold a press conference, say it's not against the rules and he spies on all 24 teams in the league but it doesn't matter because they spend hundreds of hours analysing teams and then literally gives a powerpoint presentation deconstructing Derby :slol:

It's pretty fantastic tbh, Lampard tried the whining to the press he always did on the side as a player but now it's backfired into everyone being given a pretty detailed assessment of his team's tactics and play

Fresh Premier League setback as Tim Davie declines chance to take top job

• BBC man will not replace Richard Scudamore as chief executive
• Susanna Dinnage U-turn meant first effort to fill role failed

You'd have thought it be the easiest job in the world right?

Pander to the big teams, get lots of money from Sky and BT, get a £10m garden gnome gift when you leave...

It’s not really because Scudamore bailed out at the right time as the last TV rights sales decreased. So anyone following him will have a tough task to increase the rights especially as Sky and BT seem to be more friendly to each other these days. New competitors like Eleven Sport have no chance. And that goes for the likes of Amazon too as without a TV channel they won’t get far.

Football365 article on the damage of a Big Six in the Premier League:

F365 wrote:Yet the myth of the competitiveness of the Premier League persists, usually on the back of the latest Big Six meeting or rare instance of an outsider snatching victory over one of their bigger brothers. The reality is a league split into three parts, with a mid-table muddle and a relegation rabble left scrapping for places. The annual £94m-plus handouts have become a significant raison d’etre.

The greatest league in the world has already been reduced to a ‘title race’ of two rich yachts jostling for position in the elite marina while the locked-out plebs watch on from the gates.

Well hopefully Palace can continue making the title race competitive by beating Liverpool this weekend as the mighty Benteke returns to Anfield :datass:

I'd much rather the situation as currently in the PL than Italy or Germany (although at least the Germans have decided to be slightly interesting this year) are... I mean, most leagues are pretty much the same where you have the historically (or more recently ;) ) bigger clubs, the mid-table muddle and the relegation certs...

Got to win today and keep pushing for a top four spot. Hopefully we'll start quickly under Mourinho we were far too slow out of the blocks.

Rashford 8-)

We're reaping the benefits of a settled line up not the revolving door system Mourinho employed. Lovely stuff from us so far today.

Yes it is great feeling to see them playing how they supposed to be in the United way.

Brilliant. More goals in the second half please.
