Anyway exciting matches today.

I expect Ajax to give Madrid a decent test today. Even though Madrid seem to be gaining momentum.

Spurs vs Dortmund hopefully lives up to the billing.

Really has been a complete disaster so far:

- signed just to stop City getting him, never a good reason to bring in a player (see also, Fred)
- doesn't fit into the team tactically, often drifts into areas that Pogba occupies
- resulted in Martial and Rashford both stalling in development, limiting their game time despite being in better form
- massive wages caused dressing room unrest
- failed to integrate into the team, apparently a bit of a loner
- had maybe 2 good games in over a year, regularly plays badly and as you say his legs look gone
- visibly shows his frustration at being subbed, despite deserving the hook
- has added to the ever-growing list of players cursed by the #7 shirt (the curse is real, REAL I TELL YOU!)

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him sent out on loan next season, with United footing the majority of the bill for his wages, and then he'll be released after a few more years of anonymity, with little to no ceremony.

I said at start of the season when we signed Shakira he'd be better than Sanchez cos some folk reckoned with his first real rest from football he'd be back to his best but I was proven right (which wasn't THAT mad), but for 12m and on wages less than a third of Sanchez's he's turned out rather well.

And on top of that you couldn't confuse his tits with mountains.

This is pretty much what I do when I have a large budget on Football Manager. It's surprising to see that it isn't as effective in the real world.

Yes, worried Spurs are going to get a hammering so cant decide whether to watch or not. My brothers going so could be worse...

You'll know if i dont watch because Spurs will pull of an upset and win 3-0.

Tv just showed a replay of Sancho clearly tripping over his own heels and both commentators are going on about how it was clearly a foul :?

At full speed I thought that too but he got clipped by the defender (Sissoko?).

Fantastic save by Lloris just then.

Declan Rice has chosen to play for England. Him and Sancho in our current squad will solve some of the issues we had at the World Cup.

Icardi was stripped off the captaincy. So decided not to bother travel with the squad for their europa league game.

This guy doesn’t help himself at times. Great striker, but I’m sure some clubs will be wary of his attitude. He sleeps with his best mates wife and even has the guys kid names tattooed on his arm. His agent wife has been making ridiculous claims over the last few weeks hence why he was stripped off the captaincy.

He hasn’t scored from open play in three months too, so his stock isn’t high currently.
