I feel a bit bad for Watford they've had some good attempts just can't get anything from them.

Doubt he has a big say in transfers and probably why he’s leaving.

Awful cup final.

Feels like we're watching competitive football die right in front of us.

Shame Watford couldn’t get at least one in.

They haven’t even played Aguero.

Premier league and UEFA need to go hard on them if they broken the rules.

Beaconsfield Town Fc lost in the preliminary Round of this years FA Cup. The team that beat them and so on lost the next round, finishing with Watford today.

City shouldn’t even have been in the final.

Yes I’m still bitter.

I'd take him at United in heartbeat, if only to add some leadership to that bunch of arsewipes. Class player and classier person.

Too bad. He’s going back to his old club and becomes a player-manager.

It's a pretty good article. How many of those elite clubs have broken the FFP rules?

It's strange how quickly it's happened over here. There was a period over the past 5-10 years where there was a feeling that any team could beat any other team - every team had at least 1 or 2 world class players capable of turning a game. Even united used to get beat by the bottom teams at least once or twice per season, typically. I think the prem has been the most competitive league for years, and apart from City winning it again next year, i think itll go back to being a 3 or 4 horse race. I think the Prem is also set up the fairest in terms of wealth distribution - Spain is strawberry floated, Scotland is strawberry floated, Germany is strawberry floated and probably a few other leagues - but City have broken the rules on that, so i think this will be a short lived dominance on this scale.

What were the topic of such articles at start of 2019 when City had just lost 3 games and were 7 points behind Liverpool?

Just weird that a domination of a team who clearly gave up at 3-0 against a team who don't tend to just sit back anymore once in the driving seat would set up a call for an European Super League when usually the media is very much against the idea...
