Could also be good news if City players start to sulk after going out like that.

Maybe. let’s hope so.

Nah, Spurs will be shattered from celebrating and City will want "revenge".

On a personal note, I very much enjoyed Man City’s winner being disallowed by VAR for an Aguero offside....which is exactly what should have happened in the FA Cup Quarter Final.

Good result and decent performance just hope Ramsey is ok. Also two away clean sheets on the trot.

Chuffed at both of those legs, although Napoli were poor.

Where the strawberry float do those red shorts come from? I thought this when we used them against West Brom as well. It's not like they're away kit shorts we've mixed and matched. They're completely different shorts with no other matching kit. Why not just use the dark red shorts from the away kit?

It's an odd set up but I do like it as a full kit.

Sad to say that this is very brave. I hope it works out for him.

Sad and brave because some top flight players have shown to not be receptive of managers telling it like it is in public.

Didn’t Mourinho try talking about players in public? ;)

Agree, especially given that each other manager post Fergie has been undermined and pushed towards the exit door in part due to player power.

Hopefully fans can start to look beyond blaming the manager for United's woes because it's clear that the players need to be held accountable for their own poor performances and if they don't up their game they need to be moved on.

Martial was mentioned in his press conference and that's absolutely right, he has always had excuses made for him by fans. Mourinho got the brunt of the blame for his dire performances over the last 2+ years but he's largely been shite for Ole too.

Hopefully his views match up with the board though because otherwise it's pointless and the players will just turn on Ole too and he'll be the next manager out on his nose. Unfortunately handing new contracts to under performers (Martial) or extending the contracts of those clearly not good enough (Jones, Smalling, Young) suggests the board might not be in agreement. I've seen suggestions that it's just to protect player value but really, who is going to pay money for Phil Jones, particularly given his contract demands. :dread:

Is he a Man City fan? Why would you leave when your team are winning?

The United players have to be careful, because if it ever came down the fans backing them or backing Ole, I think Ole would win that battle 9 times out of 10. He's in a far stronger position from that perspective than anyone since Fergie. He's United royalty.

To beat the traffic obviously.

What blows my mind is he literally must have got up straight after the goal went in and started leaving. How can you be thinking about leaving in that situation.

Yeah, that's not even close. I'd actually say 10/10 tbh.

Agreed. There’s not a player at that club who commands anything close to the respect that OGS does.
