Agree, especially given that each other manager post Fergie has been undermined and pushed towards the exit door in part due to player power.
Hopefully fans can start to look beyond blaming the manager for United's woes because it's clear that the players need to be held accountable for their own poor performances and if they don't up their game they need to be moved on.
Martial was mentioned in his press conference and that's absolutely right, he has always had excuses made for him by fans. Mourinho got the brunt of the blame for his dire performances over the last 2+ years but he's largely been shite for Ole too.
Hopefully his views match up with the board though because otherwise it's pointless and the players will just turn on Ole too and he'll be the next manager out on his nose. Unfortunately handing new contracts to under performers (Martial) or extending the contracts of those clearly not good enough (Jones, Smalling, Young) suggests the board might not be in agreement. I've seen suggestions that it's just to protect player value but really, who is going to pay money for Phil Jones, particularly given his contract demands.
