On my way to see the Dons. Pretty nervous. Would be huge for the club financially to get this win, but consensus among the fans is that players are only making an effort when they ate given performance bonuses.

We're just creating absolutely nothing. So uninspiring. Where on earth has the team that outplayed Man Utd and Chelsea earlier in the season gone?

Why is Rhod Gilbert commentating on the Newport v city game?

Surely, surely, that isn't a real Twitter account. Even Paisley Jr. isn't that much of a pillock is he?

I do wonder though with parody accounts who many people follow them thinking they are the real thing.

Looking at the replies it seems lots of people believe it’s real.

Most of those I suspect don't know what 'parody' means.

DUP Member of Parliament, husband, father and one of God's children. I’ve had more free holidays than Judith Chalmers. Parody Account of course.

Either that or they stop reading before getting to it, or they don't even bother looking at the bio.

Here's an odd story to cheer you up:

Pro Piacenza beaten 20-0 in Serie C after raising a quorum of seven players

• Club would have been thrown out of league for forfeiting match
• All seven were teenagers; Hicham Kanis scored six for Cuneo

What are the odds the Chelsea manager will be gone by the end of the week if this scoreline shoots up...

Alan “great pace” Shearer.

United have apparently been much better than Chelsea tonight. Earning his money with that kind of punditry.
