This is a neat visual of nearly 30 years of spending in European football. Dunno if it's both transfers and wages combined or the source of this or whatever.

It's hilarious to watch Chelsea and Man City go from obscurity to the top.

And seemingly City are going back to those days of obscurity given the current score...

Also we were gooseberry fool again... Might be best to put Roy out to pasture come the end of the year as the awful home form has been masked by decent away stuff...

I'd love to see them put Luton Town on that graph with our mighty spending power :slol: .
We'd show them how the real big boys splash the cash  .

Pretty shitty that VAR isn't in use in this match. Man City shouldn't be winning.

City - cheats on and off the pitch. Pretty disgraceful that decision. Swansea deserved a lot more from the ref there.

Wait how did they cheat in the match?

They didn’t cheat but two of their goals came from refereeing mistakes.

They cheated Swansea. Although in reality the ref did.

I genuinely don't get why VAR is restricted to Premier League grounds. What's the actual criteria needed to use it, since it's surely more about having enough cameras at enough angles that can be broadcast to the cupboard-bound officials?

Can’t be a technical limitation as it was used at this stadium in the quarter final last year for Swansea vs Spurs.

Yeah it’s very confusing. It can’t be fair for some games to have var and others not in the same competition.

Manchester United's subs bench :dread: If the starting 11 can't get it done, who's going to be the impact player?

With all the fireworks and music it feels like a big deal too. Don’t know why this NFLified razzmatazz isn’t made a permanent fixture of the Premier League in particular.

I think Sky have got a load of 8pm Saturday night Premier League games from next season, though still not as good as having it on terrestrial obviously. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve done it to further increase its popularity in the States.

Deserved goal. We've been pretty hopeless so far.
