I'm slightly worried for Liverpool this weekend. They need to get back on form now. Hopefully the past two defeats won't send them into the usual January derailing.

Teams shouldn't stop themselves from scoring just because it gets embarrassing for the opposition. It's far more disrespectful to stop playing your best.

Nigel Clough:

"We have made history in getting this far. It wasn't about tonight, it was about the achievement of getting here. We kept going right to the end, they [the fans] were shouting 'we want 10' and we stopped them, that's a positive for us. Some of the youngsters have had an experience that you can't buy.

Not letting in a tenth goal was their only positive.

Even if they wanted to City actually couldn't play the kids because they were in the EFL Trophy the night before, the two "play the kids" cups clashed with each other!

Not sure I follow you? Didn't they play Rotherham on Saturday, about 4 days earlier?

We never do football trivia on this forum, which is a disgrace. I've just got one and it's a real doozy.

I've played with:
David Beckham
Ryan Giggs
Ashley Young
Patrick Vieira
Sol Campbell
Aaron Ramsey
Michael Owen
Steven Gerrard
Mohammed Salah

Who am I?

Both on loan at Fiorentina.

Honestly tho, take giggs out of that to give it some kudos.

A one off team that played 3 games together shouldn't be considered in such a quiz as it's almost a trick question, the rest of the teams can be sought through knowledge. Might as well include 'world 11's' in testimonials...

Craig Bellamy would make that list too btw.
