Not out the picture for us or Chelsea.

Spurs squad is going to struggle if Kane is injured. Son is already off for a few weeks. Sissoko got injured today and Dembele is off. Don’t know where Wanyama is.

So the Spurs squad is going to be tested in the next few weeks.

Solskjaer has done a good job so far. Second half wasn’t convincing. But we got the win which matters. All this talk of people saying we should hand him the job now is premature. We first need to recruit a director of football. I would like the club to take their time rather than rushing the appointment.

But Solskjaer has ticked all the notes so far. But we have to see how it is in a few months. Whether now it’s just the new manager bounce.

Oh god, yes, that. Ferdinand shilling for Ashley was strawberry floating embarrassing but Keys just goes full retard with it. What a moron.

Oh and, something tells me Souness isn't happy with Solskjær being given the job over, I dunno, Mark strawberry floating Hughes or someone.

Wanyama is injured as is Dier and Lucas Moura. Rose also seems to struggle for fitness and can’t seem to play two games in a row.

We are going to really struggle. Whenever kane has had an injury Son has always stepped up and played in his position but that’s not possible this time.

I would personally rather play Dele upfront that Llorente.

What is the point of a Director of Football? What is expected of the role? I've never understood it and it just strikes me as another chef in the kitchen.

Phone died over the weekend. Anyway, great win for Liverpool, a moment of brilliance from Salah brought the penalty which made the difference.

As good as De Gea was, is it possible for Spurs to hit a shot that's not 1 foot high? they'd have scored 4-5 goals if they lifted their shots higher than De gea's legs! Happy that spurs lost though, get them out of the picture.

De Gea. It’s only a matter of time before he starts scoring at the other end.

It ain't over till it's over sonny.

But a City loss or draw tonight would make me very happy.

It's good that Liverpool have had the earlier fixtures recently to pile on the pressure.

It varies by the club. A lot of the time in football they have the responsibility over recruitment to allow more consistency in the long term planning of the club. This is generally done abroad where the person in the dugout is more often regarded as a coach than a manager, though this is being done more commonly in the Premier League, with Liverpool and Arsenal adjusting their structure to fit this role in during recent times.

At it's best the role allows for less turmoil when changing coaches, due to not ripping up years of scouting work etc and starting over. At it's worst it can see players foisted on a coach who he doesn't need, like Real Madrid's Galacticos era.

He’ll be snapped up by a bigger club in due course, what he accomplished with Huddersfield was impressive to say the least.

Agreed. I'm reasonably surprised they let him leave, he's done a great job there prior to this season.

They probably wanted the new manager bounce. Wagner apparently agreed to leave in the summer as he wanted to have a break, so they may as well try now to get someone in.

But that squad isn’t good enough and no right being in the premier league, so shows how well Wagner has done especially when you got Fulham who spent over £100m and yet look worse.
