Alright, that is very nice looking. Although I think it's going to subconsciously encourage players to try and kick the ball out of the stadium, although that could just be genius planning by Luton to get opposition strikers to miss on purpose.

It's only got lights at one end of the stadium as well, flood the home end in darkness and the opposition won't be able to see the goal to score. Classic move. :datass:

The only way Luton is like Dubai is that they have the same amount of beheadings ever year.

You've obviously never heard of the Luton Dart rail program. Dubai has one and now Luton will have one.

£200M well spent :toot: .

Also the beheadings in Luton are fake news.

Plans to expand the 2022 World Cup to 48 teams have been abandoned by Fifa.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino said last year the expansion from 32 teams could be brought forward from 2026 to the 2022 tournament in Qatar.

The change would have required Qatar to share hosting duties with other countries in the region.

World football's governing body said after a "thorough and comprehensive consultation process" the change "could not be made now".

Fifa also said it explored the possibility of Qatar hosting a 48-team tournament on its own but has decided not to pursue those plans as there was not enough time "for a detailed assessment of the potential logistical impact".

In a statement, Qatari World Cup organisers said: "Qatar had always been open to the idea of an expanded tournament in 2022 had a viable operating model been found and had all parties concluded that an expanded 48-team edition was in the best interest of football and Qatar as the host nation.

"With just three and a half years to go until kick off, Qatar remains as committed as ever to ensuring the 32-team Fifa World Cup in 2022 is one of the best tournaments ever and one that makes the entire Arab world proud."

In November, Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin said adding 16 teams to Qatar 2022 could create "many problems" and described the idea as "quite unrealistic".

I was far happier with the idea of a 48 team World Cup than I am with the idea of a World Cup in Qatar.

Ban request.

They are linked.

Most famous person from Luton? Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.

Who does Yaxley-Lennon hate? Muslims.

Where is the next World Cup? Qatar – a Muslim nation.

Checkmate Mr Preezy.

At first I was about to point out that it's only 3 years not 3 and a half, and then I remembered that they are hosting it in the winter.

What a joke :fp:

Surprised City are letting Sane go. His attitude mustn really stink as he is a great player and would be the perfect replacement for Ribery.

Also ridiculous Mkhitaryan has to miss a cup final due to his safety not being guaranteed. What’s the point of having a final there?

So it's Conte in at Inter Milan, I wonder if he'll try and get Lukaku as has been rumoured. Swap deal for Icardi? :shifty:

Why would you want Icardi? He’s a massive divisive influence in the dressing room. He’d do you more harm than good.
