I don't get it. Everton's recruitment since the takeover has been strawberry floating stupid. Jordan Pickford has been the only out and out excellent signing, we even knew he was a good buy when he signed him. This is straight up gambling by comparison. We absolutely do not need this player.

£50m is absolutely shocking for a player who had half a good season then went missing (around same time Everton sniffed around Silva in first place)...

If that's the case, Zaha is probably worth a lot more than that...

With Debe Alli running down the rim and passing to Harry at one end and Winks flushing out runners at the other, Spurs have a really good chance of finishing 4th.

Unfortunately their star is known to be quite rusty during the first few weeks of the season. Without his efforts they’ll need to make sure they don’t leak much at the back.

Football-wise, whilst all the German players flattered to deceive last month Ozil was singled out for a lot of stick. He created decent chances in the Korea game that weren't converted. What more can he do? In terms of the racism/politics it seems a lot of people dropped him like a runny turd to appease the far right, so I can see why he's strawberry floated off!
