EDIT: The film has been described as "Die Hard in a football stadium." I need to see this.

Pfft, Jean Claude van Damme was killing bad guys in a sports stadium back in 1995

I love that movie as well. Sudden Death.

My wife thought he actually looked better in that video than he did when he was a manager

Good to see him on the mend, you never know what you're going to be left with after brain injury.

Neymar doing everything he can to become the most loathed player since Suarez.

Cue inevitable £80m transfer :fp:

Shockingly there's now a story out there saying Maguire will cost Utd...

£80m.

I think we should be going all out to get Perisic.

Virgin Customers. Channel 127. Arsenal vs PSG.

Arsenal 1-0 at the moment.

I don’t know what to say if Maguire is worth £80m!

All white vs all turquoise - I know it's to sell shirts, but someone should be shot for that!

I think they should play "If you're happy and you know it" at half time at all football grounds...

Great goal. Interesting to see how Shaqiri will get on this season, he clearly has a lot of ability but he just hasn't been able to produce it often enough so far.

The quality of players around him helped, he was inter changing with others with quick 1-2’s. He also held off Bailly (top player) and laid it off for sturridges goal earlier. He was better than I thought he’d be tbh, worked hard too.

I’m getting pretty bored with Jose’s antics now. Article in the telegraph claims the players are as well. His assistant who left at the end of last season is an important factor I think. He was a good sounding board for Jose I think.
He’s right in that United haven’t been good enough in their transfer dealings, though.
I think if we have a poor start or are out of contention in the league around xmas - he’ll be gone before the end of the season.

I do think this is his last season anyway. Won’t be devastated if that’s the case.

Manchester United's opening game on Friday night (10th August) against Leicester City is being given away on Sky 1 and Sky Sports Mix.

I found his comments outrageous tbh, how he talks about the young players and singling out Martial is bizarre.

He's done this before, most notably at Chelsea, twice.
