Listening to Talksport on the way to work this morning and the first 2 names they suggested to replace him were Sam Allardyce and David Moyes  :fp:

I'd probably have crashed my car if they'd suggested anyone foreign, heaven forbid!

I can't stand Talksport, it's managed to gather together everything that is wrong with football and packaged into an entire radio station, it's impressive in some ways.

Agreed, I listen to it ironically

They are the epitome of white-van-man-brexit-voting-things-were-better-in-my-day-look-at-pogba's-hair-poor-british-managers thinking, and it's often hilarious.

It’s owned by News Corp. It’s basically an audio version of the Sun.

Yep, that's why Colin Murray left the station cos he's a Liverpool fan.

I don't remember the Czech Republic winning the World Cup or European Championships, but if Cech says he's won them who am I to question it?

This led me to google the tournament. The concept of Gareth Barry playing for England U21s is incredible. He's always been in his early 30s to me. Also - Alan Smith was on the books for Notts County until the end of last season

Also - Only five players scored more than one goal in the tournament

Sending out Clyne on a loan wasn’t the smartest idea in the world.

City have Jesus on their side

He must have face timed with his mum before the match.

But seriously, I really like how important it is for him to have his family close by. Shows you that money really isn't the be all and end all for some players  :voms into sickbag:

Alexander-Arnold being injured sucks but it's more for what he adds to the team than the fact there's no first team right-back currently available. Milner can do a job in a pinch, Fabinho's played there for Brazil and Gomez is back in training soon. With the FA Cup elimination, it's probably going to be a case of only having to manage one game without.

Manchester City refuse to give Uefa any comment on FFP allegations

• Club argues claims are based on ‘hacked or stolen’ emails
• Uefa wrote to City inviting comment before Christmas

(...)

City responded that the allegations were based on “hacked or stolen” emails, and challenged Uefa to support stronger protection against hacking.

Arsenal's post-Wenger plans in tatters with Sven Mislintat set to leave club

• Mislintat’s chances of move to technical director had slimmed
• German feared role would become that of glorified chief scout

Why are Derby playing in grey against Southampton?

Why do they even have a light grey kit considering their home colours?

I won't know what to do with myself!

Liverpool's defensive issues are a concern. Just have to pray to god nothing happens to Van Dijk.
