Calling it now. All of us (United, City or Liverpool) hoping for Spurs if it's an English team. Secretly being relieved it's spurs. Then losing to Spurs.

Spurs v Man Utd final; manager contract hanging above the ring.

I fear we'll end up be drawn against City or United. strawberry float that, if we are going to get a big draw I'd rather it be Barca or Juve just for something different.

Yeah, I don’t want City and Liverpool. I honestly rather have Juve or Barca ahead of them too. If we lose to the latter two teams it won’t be unbearable like against City or Liverpool.

Spurs form has taken a hit obviously, so wouldn’t mind them. Porto are always in the last 16 or 8 and usually tend to be difficult to play against at home besides last year.

My phone has charged and I've received additional messages

My pool mate sent me 60 messages in the 45 mins which culminated in a photo of Van Djik sliding in triumph to the corner flag.

Your mate needs to find something better to do with his time.

I'd kinda like to see if we could dick City again but I'd prefer Porto.

It’s great, fun fact - The Bundesliga has the highest average attendances in Europe

That doesn’t mean a lot, that’s to do with high capacities and lower ticket prices.

This isn’t a slant on the league’s overall quality.

In terms of fan attendance and all that it’s up there.

But the quality has gone downhill. Schalke were embarrassing yesterday. Dortmund had spells vs Spurs, but there was never really a moment where you felt Spurs were under serious pressure.

The commentator said Ribery created 3 assists in 12 minutes the other day. No way is he doing that in the prem at his age. In his prime he’d definitely could. But he’s like 35 now. The most damning thing for Bayern was them bringing on Sanches to save the game when they were 2-1 down.

Lewandowski hasn’t scored in like 6 knockout ties. Gnarby didn’t do much at Arsenal, but he’s a massive drop in quality from when they had Robben.

The squad will probably win the German league. But if they want to win the champions league then they need to make new signings.
