They haven't been all that lucky with cup draws this season, and so I cannot see Manchester United getting either Porto, Ajax or Liverpool.

All 4 English teams will face each other, UEFA will fix it to thin out the Premiership crowd.

All four teams playing each other in one game? It’d be interesting.

If United or Spurs were to win the Champions League (admittedly not that likely) and Chelsea or Arsenal won the Europa League, but both winning teams finished out of the Top 4, would only the top 2 qualify for next seasons Champions League? Don't both champions get automatic berths, but you can only have 4 teams?

I think the Europa League winners spot is an extra place, whereas the Champions League winners place would be at the expense of whoever finished fourth.

I'll answer my own question. If both winners come outside top 4, the 4th placed team will go into Europa League. You can have 5 teams, but not six.

Liverpool messed up that league campaign too. :shifty:

They'd already fallen apart at that point though...after Rafa's rant in January

So De Gea in goal but with Pep managing and all other players being from Man City?

Come on, Utd would contribute more than that!

They'd put super sub Solskjaer on the bench as well! :P

If Pep is managing, and all the other players are from City, why change the goalie? (A goalie who plays in a style which Pep prefers.)

Feel the excruciation of a clear goal denied.

Come for the denied goal. Stay for the WW2 references.

Not the first time that snow interfered with the German offence.

A combined team has to have at least one token player.
