Apparently, Inter and Juventus are keen on Alexis Sanchez.

I do wonder what the qualifying criteria was for this. I don't actually think anyone on there doesn't deserve to be, they're all great players that have won a lot of trophies, I guess it's the order that's contentious.

Rooney better than Batistuta? Nah

There must be some kind of weighting based on trophies. Henry is a great player but is he really the 6th best player of the last 25 years?

All those adverts about not mugging off the cup look silly now from BT. Surprised Sky haven’t made a bid.

If they dropping the FA Cup it means they going all out for the champions league.

I can see them ramping up their sports output considering they're rumoured to be losing the HBO and Disney/Fox contracts next year.

In the long term I see Sky as more of an ISP/mobile provider with Sky Sports being their main focus.

I'm guessing the FA cup just isn't that much of a draw to bother with. It's probably of more interest to fans of lower league clubs such as myself as it's the only time we get to face the top teams.

I wonder if viewing figures and costs were a reason for BBC and ITV not renewing.

BT obviously wanted something to launch their Sport channel with and had so little content available so I guess it made sense for them at the time.

Probably. At his peak he was ridiculously good.

I doubt Juve are actually interested, what with their manager about to jump ship.

That Ronaldo guy hasn't really paid off so Sanchez is clearly the answer.

I'd imagine he was overlooked because he was far past his best when 1994 rolled around. He's associated with the 80s more than the 90s.

These lists are often written with nostalgia. Especially if written by one person, usually weighted towards when they first heavily started watching football.

Seems like there's an exodus going on at Swansea. Might bode well for us nabbing Potter.
