I see it's all kicking off again in Portugal with England fans again, a tiny minority obviously. :fp:

Spurs and Liverpool in Madrid last week and nothing happened at all. :)

Apart from these isolated incidents, the weekend did, however, pass off without any major problems.

Decent article about the England scum in Portugal:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jun/06/england-fans-porto-violence-disgrace

For such fans, following England abroad seems less about celebration and more about occupation. They also see nothing wrong with their behaviour. But how would they feel if thousands of Portuguese marauders descended on their town, pissing in gutters, throwing bottles, and squaring up to cops? Or – as is the case in Guimarães on Thursday – forcing schools to close early because of fears of more violence?

You just despair.

How they afford to do all this travelling is what I want to know, especially as they behave like animals. Who the hell is continuing to employ these morons. Or are they all self employed plumbers...

The Poland/Switzerland game was on Sky so I'm assuming tonight will be the same.

Yeah the whole competition has been hidden away on Sky, which is pretty rubbish for those without that service considering this the national team we're talking about.

A loss for the Premier League. When was the last time an English club pinched a La Liga star in their prime?

Only one I can think of is Di Maria to United, and that wasn't exactly against Madrid's wishes, they were hawking him all over Europe.

Pulling power of Madrid and Barca is quite simply unmatched by any other club. Not just the Premier League.

Given the circumstances, Hazard has made the right decision. The endless circling of world class talent to two teams in Spain is getting tiresome though, then again, the Premier League teams hoovering up all other players at the tier below is equally tiresome.

I miss Italian football.
