Team: Liverpool FC
Final Position: 2nd
Highlight of the season: The comeback against Barcelona at Anfield was something very very special and as much as winning our 6th CL is amazing, the Barca game will live long in the memory. :datass:
Lowlight of the season: Drawing too many games and ultimately losing out to City by 1pt. :(
Player of the season: There's an awful lot of Candidates for this but It has to be Virgil Van Dijk, the man is just pure quality and is probably the best Centre half in the world. Peerless.
Worst player of the season: Adam Lallana, and I could only pick him cos he barely played.
Young player of the season: Trent Alexander-Arnold - What a season, record breaking in assists and that quick corner against Barcelona showed his guile and speed of thought.
Manager rating: Klopp 10/10 - Brought us our 6th European Cup and his transfer ins and outs have been pretty much spot on, he's assembled the best Liverpool Team I've seen in the Premier League and he's Klopp, he's f**king awesome and I love the guy.
Overall season rating: 9/10 - Missing out so cruelly on the Premier League docks the season a point but overall it's been a joy.

Team: Arsenal
Final Position: 5th
Highlight of the season: that nice long unbeaten streak near the start of the season. was a fun time for a while.
Lowlight of the season: losing to crystal palace at home in the final run in of games. win that and it would of been top 4.
Player of the season: Lacazette
Worst player of the season: Mustafi
Young player of the season: Torreira, only 23 and had a great season.
Manager rating: 8/10
Overall season rating: 7/10

Championship but hey ho

Team: Swansea
Final Position: 10th
Highlight of the season: FA Cup run
Lowlight of the season: Missing out on an FA Cup semi final place and a shock win in the QF v Man City due to a ridiculous FA decision on the use of VAR.
Player of the season: Matt Grimes for me. Has got better and better as the season went on, and showed his versatility by playing out of position whenever asked/needed.
Worst player of the season: Bony, purely for his cost.
Young player of the season: Daniel James, scored some wonder goals and the money off United will be a huge help to our financial problems.
Manager rating: 7/10
Overall season rating: 5/10

Team: Tottenham Hotspur
Final Position: 4th
Highlight of the season: Champions League last minute wins
Lowlight of the season: Pathetic Champions League Final performance and general awful play for the whole season. We were very lucky to finish in the top four.
Player of the season: Heung Min Son
Worst player of the season: Dele Alli
Young player of the season: N/A
Manager rating: 8/10
Overall season rating: 7/10

Team: Everton
Final Position: 8th
Highlight of the season: Beating United 4-1 at Goodison.
Lowlight of the season: Pickford at Anfield
Player of the season: Lucas Digne. Baines has been an amazing player for us but Digne has comfortably replaced him
Worst player of the season: Theo Walcott.
Young player of the season: Dominic Calvert Lewin. When he made his debut it was hard to see what his potential was but he's come on a lot since then.
Manager rating: I think optimism creating end of season means he scrapes a 7
Overall season rating: 6/10

Goal of the Season: Sigurdssons cruyff turn and then long range shot into top corner away v Leicester.

Team: Crystal Palace
Final Position: 12th
Highlight of the season: Not a particularly stand out season, but the wins over Man City (the only team to get points at the Etihad) and Arsenal were stand outs. Townsend's wonder strike especially.
Lowlight of the season: The Brighton games. And not taking advantage of letting Cardiff stay up at their expense.
Player of the season: Wan-Bissaka. He was good when he came in towards end of last season, and he's getting better every game. It's a shame England suddenly have about 50 high quality right backs otherwise he'd be in the squad regularly.
Worst player of the season: Anyone under the guise of "striker"
Young player of the season: Wan-Bissaka for reasons above.
Manager rating: Hodgson - 6/10. Sometimes we show immense quality. Other times it's all over the shop. Inconsistencies and peculiar choices regarding subs are something that needs improving next season.
Overall season rating: 6/10 - Mid table mediocrity but stalls in the cups. The quality of the squad still lacks much depth, and the striker situation needs solving. Again.

I’d agree with most of what you sad although I wouldn’t call Dele our worst player. I would say he was our biggest disappointment all season. I’m nit sure what the problem is, I don’t think he plays in his best position most of the time but something isn’t right.

Generally our performances haven’t been as good this season even though we managed to win a number of games despite this. It’s not been as great to watch.

Trippier has to be one of your worst performers this year I'd have thought. Gone backwards at an incredible rate considering where he was post World Cup last summer.

4 million (29.2% share of the audience) watched England defeat Scotland in the FIFA Women's World Cup, making it the most watched women's football match in UK history. It peaked with 6.3m (38.2%) in the last 5 minutes.

Women’s football more popular than the Premier League confirmed.

We weren’t pressing enough. Alli has been crap for 2 seasons now and thinks hes the best player and got his big contract. We need to move him on along with eriksen who was pretty awful all season. I know he got a few important goals, but didn’t really give 100% every game did he?

Indeed Eriksen has also been disappointment this year. Very ineffectual in a lot of games. Dele, Eriksen and Trippier are probably my three biggest disappointments for the season. Sissoko is so flip floppy it’s unbelievable. He can be awful one game, with miss placed passes all over the shop. Then the next game, he’s mixing it up, winning the balls and starting off attacks. Something about the overall balance of the team has gone wrong this year.

Team: Celtic
Final Position: 1st in SPFL
Highlight of the season: Treble Treble. Individually, watching the League Cup final in a CSC in Manhattan was great.
Lowlight of the season: Losing to AEK Athens, the Rangers home wins. Or immediately after the treble treble, when Lennon was made permanent manager.
Player of the season: James Forrest. Great player.
Worst player of the season: Mikael Lustig.
Young player of the season: Not sure. I like Aaron Ralston.
Manager rating: The Snake - 7/10. The team were doing fine under him. Lennon - also 7/10. Did well to steady the ship and lead the team to the league and Scottish Cup while playing quite poorly.
Overall season rating: Has to be 10/10 but I have a growing feeling that next season will be very difficult. Lots of player turnover needed, but I don't see that we'll get the personnel we need to make a challenge for the league next season.

Team: Blackburn
Final Position: 15th in Championship
Highlight of the season: Watching us beat Sheffield Wednesday in a pub full of SWFC fans. In New York.
Lowlight of the season: A losing streak that effectively killed any hope of promotion that began when we were in 7th on goal difference.
Player of the season: Bradley Dack/Charlie Mulgrew
Worst player of the season: Probably Jack Rodwell?
Young player of the season: Not sure. .
Manager rating: Tony Mowbray - 8/10. A very solid first season back in the Championship and fighting an uphill battle against fans, owners, limited funds, etc. etc. He's a much better manager in the role he's in here, than he was at Celtic where he had more funds but more pressure to immediately succeed.
Overall season rating: 8/10. Big blip killed our hopes of promotion but I think they were unrealistic anyway. I'm just happy to be a bit more stable than we have been recently.

Team: West Ham
Final Position: 10th
Highlight of the season: Beating Spurs at their impressive shiny new stadium that I'm in no way jealous of at all. It's a little known fact that West Ham are the first team to do so in the history of football
Lowlight of the season: Getting knocked out of the FA Cup by bottom-of-League-1 AFC Wimbledon was the most contemptible, humiliating disgrace I have witnessed by a West Ham team for quite a long time.
Player of the season: Fabianski was fantastic. He made lots of impressive saves but none more so than his Banks-esque save from Fellaini's downward header in the 3-1 win over Man Utd.
Worst player of the season: Lucas Perez. He wasn't completely useless but he didn't look bothered most of the time.
Young player of the season: Rice looks a real star in the making. It's refreshing to finally have a West Ham player in the England squad, let alone in the first team.
Manager rating: 7/10 - 10th was probably about par for a squad like ours, but Pellegrini's team selections were quite baffling at times. None more so than in the home game against Everton when he rested a lot of players and we predictably got absolutely battered and it was a miracle we only lost 2-0.
Overall season rating: 7/10 - An Edge 7.

Fabinski

One of the most underrated keepers in the league, and one of the best outside the big names.

He's got a pretty big name, to be fair. Bigger than Allison, De Gea, Leno, Lloris.

Obviously none can stand up to Arrizabalaga ;)

Who is the biggest name in the league at the moment? Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has to be up there surely?

What about Frederico Rodrigues de Paula Santos?

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I’ll never forget the day Arsenal signed Alexander Oxlade-Chamberlain and I said to my friends at school “it’s about time Arsenal made a big name signing”. They bloody loved it.

Man, was that a good day

The Ox has been robbed there, they’ve used the shortened version of his first name!
