Got to open up that gap today because out December is nuts. If Leicester drop points that'd be nice too.

I think its fair to say City arent going to win the League this season. Maybe its time to focus more on Champions League.

Dammit.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Alisson rightly sent off but there was some real shoddy decision-making from the officials today. A Brighton player standing yards past the last man who the ball is crossed towards doesn't count as offside, a player tackling through the back of someone nowhere near the ball and then that freekick Brighton scored from. I'm not sure how allowing players to take freekicks quickly for shots on goal when a keeper is organising their wall benefits the game at all, unless we're working under the assumption that more goals always equals better game, which I don't agree with at all.

Group B is the darkest, horseiest collection of teams I've seen in an international tournament.

The Independent:

West Ham supporters were heard consistently singing homophobic chants towards Chelsea supporters in their 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

"Chelsea rent boys" could be heard clearly throughout Saturday's game, which has seen football's anti-discrimination organisation Kick It Out urge supporters to report instances of homophobic chants.

The chants come on the week of the Rainbow Laces Day campaign, designed to promote LGBT+ inclusion in the sport.

Kick It Out tweeted:

It is the latest example of Chelsea fans having homophobic chants directed at them, with Kick It Out previously calling for action after Liverpool supporters were also heard singing "Chelsea rent boys" last April.

"We are absolutely clear: the 'rent boy' chant is homophobic and must be treated as such," read their statement at the time.

"The 'rent boy' chants have been directed at Chelsea for years, with little action taken by The FA or police - and that must not continue.

"We expect stronger condemnation and appropriate sanctions, just as we would for any other form of discrimination."

Did you make the same argument during the Champion’s League match v Barcelona when TAA took a quick corner? ;)

But a quick corner kick when a defence are organising themselves is all okay ;)

Nothing wrong with taking a quick corner....according to the rules.

Also, the free kick should've been cancelled and awarded a free kick to liverpool because the Brighton player was within a yard of the wall (of 3 players or more). Martin 'Man United' Atkinson failed to spot that.
