Arsenal are a better team than last season. Liverpool just have better quality.

Needed to put our chances away or get to half time 0-0 but Liverpool are class.

Reckon Arsenal can be relatively pleased with how they played there. It really could have been different but for a couple of spurned chances at 0-0. Top 4 is wide open but I reckon they can do it.

gooseberry fool five before half time, gooseberry fool five after half time. Before the first goal we were solid, albeit on the back foot, and could have sneaked a goal. Having said that Liverpool dominated so can't be too salty about losing.

That's like the strange shiver I get through my entire body when I sense Photek's been name-dropping in posts.

Absolutely gutted Watford lost so heavily. It means Newcastle will need to lose by at least three vs Spurs to drop to bottom of the league.

I think Steve Bruce's coaching is good enough to achieve that scale of loss, but I'm not confident that some of our players won't just ignore the hopeless idiot's instructions and will keep it down to managable levels instead.

It's a new and strangely liberating feeling for me to actively wish the worst on my team, so that the scum owner leaves.

I don't care how long it takes, or if we have to drop out of the league altogether first. Sometimes, you have to get sick before you get better.

It might take some doing for that Brighton red card to not be the most deserved of the season. :dread:

How on earth did Spurs not get a penalty there? Kane was practically rugby tackled.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Awful decision, no idea how that wasn't a penalty.

Having said that, spurs were terrible. Absolutly no creativity. Annoying result, especially after Newcastle time wasting, but we really didn't deserve anything after such a turgid display. Something is very wrong with the way we are playing at the moment, players seem to get forward and then just stand there with no idea what to do. Really depressing after watching liverpool vs arsenal yesterday.

Just watching the coverage. Lucas Moura has fluffed at least three he should really be getting on target.

Absolute shambles. :slol:

To be honest, the cricket (and a beer festival) has made me almost completely oblivious to anything else in sport today.

But I can't deny that winning a game of football even against your will has a strange effect.

What is this strange feeling - can it be happiness? No. It can't be that. Stop thinking that way.

Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders has been jailed for 10 weeks for failing to provide a breath specimen after being arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

The 55-year-old looked crestfallen when he realised he was going to jail as keys jangled and prison officers entered the dock at Chester Magistrates’ Court.

But who will talkSPORT turn to now for wildly incorrect opinions and mean-spirited jingoism?

What an idiot.

Reporting like this always annoys me though - "Former Liverpool striker"? He played nearly three times as many games for Villa as he did Liverpool, in fact he played more games for 8 separate clubs than he did for Liverpool!

(sorry, just suffering from small club syndrome! )

He probably played even more games for Swansea than Liverpool

I haven't checked that mind you.
