Sure Liverpool might have the title all wrapped up but with the midtable from 5th to 13th seperated by 4 points and goal differences lools like a much more thrilling battle to watch then the top 3

Definitely. There's a bunch of teams only 7 points from the relegation places. And someone just outside the top 4 could easily mount a challenge by winning 3 or 4 on the run - no one can string 2 wins together it seems.
Commentator on 5 Live letting Manchester United supporters have both barrels for singing about wanting Woodward dead. But he then asks why don't they sing about wanting the board sacked, etc. So moments later they sing about wanting Glazers out and commentator says Well, that's not very supportive of the team

Their season has not been that bad, Ole gets more stick than he deserves, CL football is still possible and would be a great result with this mosh mash of a squad. They’re only a couple of decent signings away from looking pretty good. Biggest issue to me seems to be the open hostility fans have for the players, I don’t know why anyone would want to join such a toxic atmosphere with all the other options available.
United fans still aren’t over Fergie leaving. 37pts the biggest gap it seems in 11/12, truly the blunder years.
I said last year before Mourinho was sacked that nothing would change long term and regrettably I've been proven completely right. A total lack of strategy at the top level of the club, board once again failing to fully back a manager in the transfer market when it counts and we're back to the exact same spot we were in under Moyes, LvG and Mourinho.
I think Ole is probably doing about the best he can with what he has and he deserves credit for moving on certain players, involving more youth and getting the best out of Rashford/Fred/McTominay. It has to be said though that our defending of set pieces under his tenure is atrocious and his in game management has been consistently poor. He's also appearing increasingly looking lost during press conferences. I feel for him though, this is his dream job and I believe he genuinely wants to do well for the club but he is looking out of his depth.
Whether he goes or not I maintain it will lead to no long term change. Of course, rebuilds take time and patience from fans but they also require careful planning and strategy. Although the Glazers don't invest as much as they could, and probably should, its also true that enough money has been spent that the club should be in a much better position, Liverpool and Leicester are all the evidence you need that such a thing is possible.
The biggest problem is that there's no direction or strategy, money has been pissed up the wall time and time again on the wrong players, who've been quickly moved on under new managers. Each new manager has had a totally different philosophy and playing style and it's left a club behind with a mess of a squad and no direction. The most frustrating thing for me is the initial backing of managers which then drops off at a crucial time. We saw it with Mourinho when he was handed a new contract and then not backed in the Summer window after we finished 2nd and you're seeing it now with Ole, who is in desperate need of reinforcements for a squad that has lost 8 players in 12 months, recruiting just 3 replacements and is currently decimated by injuries.
Moving Woodward out of a footballing role and getting someone in who knows what they're doing is the most crucial thing that could happen but without that we'll continue to be completely lacking in direction. It's a sad state of affairs and sadly I can't see it changing any time soon.
