I was against VAR from the outset, but I take no pleasure in it somehow managing to be even worse than imagined.

Can't wait for Euro 2020 with throw-ins called back after two minutes because the taker's feet were an inch off the floor.

Var has ruined football although it came to spurs aid against man city, it also made us lose in the final, infact i would have preferred to lose to city after our pathetic performance in the final.

It just doesn’t work and the fact that a lot of decisions are still looked at even now proves that it should not have been brought in.

This is a stupid point, even in Rugby and NFL, all referee's will see things differently. Human error is still human error. It gets the majority of decisions correct, it's implemented poorly at mo, personally I think it should work like the NFL in which each manager can call for VAR once per half.

VAR is there to make the right decision. If we still cannot decide if it is the right decision then leave it to the referee on the pitch.

The problem with refereeing and var is the officials need to all be on the same page. Different leagues/countries do things in different ways this needs to change for it to work.

I think it's abundantly clear that VAR's purpose is inherently a good thing, its execution, however, needs serious refinement and needs to engage with the supporters in the stadiums rather than leaving them sitting there wondering what the strawberry float is going on. They should always be able to see what the referee is seeing.

Best game I've ever seen live?

Probs when we beat west brom in sherwood first game when bent eke scored in the 93rd minute, genuinely thought i was going to die.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Alright so you’re saying if VAR only gets it right 90% of the time let’s pack it in and give it back to the ref who only gets t right 50% of the time or whatever. That’s just illogical.

VAR is in its infancy. It has issues but it will be improved with time. Same thing happened when they introduced it to rugby.

Mine would have to be the Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield this season. The euphoria in the stands was incredible.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

It's nice to see the people in charge of Football have seen sense and Put Luton Town out First in their charge to eventual champions league glory in 3 years.

It’s just so unlike football fans to overreact and engage in hyperbole.

A bit like how putting results in thread titles could lead to much worse situations?!
