Manchester United and Sporting have agreed a fee of £68m for Bruno Fernandes. Apparently he will fly to Manchester tomorrow or Thursday for a medical and sign the contract.

Yet more evidence that some "fans" take this sport a little too seriously. Complete knobheads.

On a slightly related note, I think it's sickening that Manu have employed The Rag's chief football writer as a spin doctor.

That's what I assumed. I think it's a bit much having a go at someone for where they choose to work without knowing their circumstances. Where he works is up to him and it's frankly ridiculous to bring morals into this.

If you work for The Sun then you have no morals. And it is perfectly justified to have a go at somebody based on where they choose to work.

That's like saying anyone who orders from Amazon has no morals. It's simplistic and plainly wrong.

That's not even remotely the same.

If both can be taken to be endorsements of hateful organisations they are very similar.

No it’s not. It would be like saying anybody who works for Amazon is the same. And not even that would be true, there’s a vast difference between a warehouse worker struggling at Amazon and being the Chief Propaganda Officer for Amazon. I’ve no problem with the cleaners at the Sun’s office, but there is a big problem with those that choose to write for the shitrag.

What are you actually talking about?

Can you honestly not see the gaping chasm between a Sun journalist and an Amazon warehouse packer?

Fair points, guys. Let's try not to get aggressive about this, though. I'm just trying to say that to say that because the man wrote about football for The Sun does not make him morally bankrupt. He wasn't the football equivalent of Rod Liddle while he was there.

For somebody that wishes death on people for the way they voted, it’s a little much for you to defend a Sun journalist while also saying “don’t be aggressive”. ;)
