Yeah starting to look like a matter of when not if for Villa now. :dread:

Still a while to go but I'm not confident anything will change

Apparently The Mayor of Liverpool is livid about the fans breaking social distancing rules and the mess they left. He said " We cant have this every thirty years!"

Mayor is an Everton fan but impressive burn none the less.

I haven’t watched every game obviously but is it a striker situation?

That's one of the issues certainly, Tammy Abraham was a big part of our promotion last year and we haven't really replaced him

I think it's more a defensive issue for Villa. Their attacking record compares favourably with a number of teams in the league but defensively most of their numbers are the worst. Apart from very unusual circumstances, you're very rarely going to be able to succeed when you're letting the opposition have so many chances.

To be fair, they've actually been much better on that front since the restart but it's looking like it might be a case of too little, too late.

A pleasure to be listening to the punditry of Alan “great pace” Shearer, again.

It's been good to be a Liverpool fan for the last couple of years
it was almost worth suffering through the hodgson era

Don’t think it’ll properly sink in until they lift the trophy against Chelsea. Our boys. A Klopp statue shouldn’t be considered while he’s at the club, but I’m all for renaming The Kop to The Klopp (Spion Klopp) when he departs in what I hope will be many years from now. Just praying FSG lets us have a couple of decent signings to keep the momentum going now.

I’m rather gutted: had tickets to the Villa match, and was set to be in the Kop for the first time, which would have been a mad, mad experience as champs. But I did manage to go to the Bournemouth match, which was our final Prem game with a crowd. So at least I can say I was at the final game available in our title season.

Settling down to watch England vs. Germany from Euro '96.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Hopefully we've learnt from our previous mistakes and actually win this time.

The ref's BLM and NHS patches are really annoying me in this game. Did they forget to peel a bit off after printing?

I'm fed up with Euro 96, it was great and loved it at the time but seeing gazza miss that chance in ET to put us in the final always gives me false hope, I still can't believe he never scored!!!

I feel like we need to stop celebrating glorious failure in this country though I do get we don't have much to cheer about
