Was fortunate enough to be on the Kop when he scored a perfect hattrick against Arsenal. Might not have been as great a goalscorer as some who have played for Liverpool but I have no doubt everyone who saw him play will remember him fondly.

So to appraise Arsenal's current situation: we have gaping holes in the squad, no money, no CL, we've lost our best midfielder on a free, our captain and best defender has gone on strike, and our summer transfer business thus far has consisted of trying to buy half of Wilfred Zaha.

Was chatting to a friend who supports Chelsea yesterday and he joked saying that even with a transfer ban they've still managed to do more business than Arsenal!

Got to be tough for Arsenal fans when they're clearly in dire need of a fairly drastic overhaul and re-balancing of the squad.

All we seem to have done in the past eighteen months is lose the optimism that maybe things would change once Wenger went, because he did and they haven't

Who do you support by the way? I'll add you to the OP.

If Bruce goes to the Mags he'll have managed both Sheffield clubs, both Birmingham clubs and both Sunderland and Newcastle.

I don't get why Barca have signed Griezmann at all. Seems like a huge amount to add a 28 year old to an already aging squad, not to mention they've got bigger issues in defence and midfield.

Madrid saying they're owed 200m for Griezmann because Barca made an agreement with him before 1st July (when the clause reduced from 200m to 120m).

Are they at least trying to buy bottom half :shifty: .

Luton Town have sold a player for £4m and spent exactly £0 as all our purchases have been freebies.
We're about to make it rain on someone :toot: .

£80m for a Minecraft Headed defender.

Van Dijk all set to sign an extended contract apparently, he’ll join Salah on 200k a week to be joint highest paid players. :datass:

He's better than what United currently have (except for Lindelof), but I dunno... is he even any good?
