As flies to wanton boys, we are for the gods. They kill us for the sport. Soon the science will not only be able to slow down the ageing of the cells. Science will fix the cells to the state and so we become eternal. Only accidents, crimes, wars will still kill us, but unfortunately crimes and wars will multiply. I love football.

Is that Nedved on the right of the bottom picture? Looks ready to lose it.

So Manu are paying Sanchez £215k a week while he’s out on loan, to put that in context, Liverpool’s highest paid player is Mo Salah on £200k a week. Mental.

Same problem again today, total inability to close out a game and take our chances. Liverpool or City would have been 3-0 up at half-time with the chances we had but at 1-0 our position is always vulnerable. We don't have the quality in midfield to break teams down when they defend deeply and we don't have clinical enough attackers to take all their chances.
Olé isn't helping himself though with his team selections or substiutions, he keeps bringing on Greenwood too late to really make an impact and I can't understand this persistence with Pereira, Lingard and Mata, none of whom offer enough quality as attacking midfielders. About time we gave Gomes a chance.
Same old story. Gonna be a long season me thinks. Too many hilariously average players who wouldn't look out of place in The Championship.
Only the new signings have made any impact. Pogba gooseberry fool as usual, with his tactic this season seemingly being to hold the ball for 10 seconds too long and try to outmuscle everyone. Garbage.
