I’m happy with a point against Chelsea, obviously slightly lucky with the own goal but a points a point.

Why was Mane so unhappy at being subbed?

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Frustrated at Salah not putting him through. Salah's decision to not pass to Bobby earlier on was the bigger mistake though.

Commentators thought it was because Salah wouldn’t pass to him on a couple of occasions when we could have easily scored if he had. I’m not sure that’s true actually but I could see why if it were.

Salah really is unhelpfully greedy sometimes.

Mane was annoyed by Salah being selfish, not good to see but I’m sure Klopp will calm it down.

4 wins out of 4 and Burnley away will be hard for others.

Alisson should be back after international Break too.

I see Chelsea away game in a few weeks time as a crucial one now, wedged between Napoli away and a league cup game.

Looking at the fixture times though Liverpool have it better than city.

Liverpool have Tuesday Napoli, Sunday Chelsea, Wednesday mk dons.
City have Wednesday, Saturday , Tuesday respectively.

And Liverpool can just play a b side against mk dons and see what happens.

Hopefully he international break (grrrrr] will give Becker some recovery time too.

Apparently MotD pundits questioned whether the ref actually blew his whistle or not

In terms of the goal itself, because the whistle went before he struck it, it never existed according to the game, I've seen a ref blow for full time whilst a ball arrowed into the top corner so even this isn't the "WORST DECISION EVAR!" as claimed.

And Sky picked awful angles on their highlights for the "dive" so I honestly don't know if that was the right decision. But apparently VAR looked at that and decided it wasn't a penalty so it did get involved (some claiming it wasn't).

Think it's another moment where the pundits claim to misunderstand the rules deliberately to push for something controversial to talk about.

Joke of a decision, and has cost Villa a point. I know VAR wasn't involved in this incident, but surely the whole point of bringing it in was to stop errors like this. The fact that the whistle was blown shouldn't mean gooseberry fool if it's a blatantly incorrect decision - VAR should be able to check and then allow the goal.

Great response just before the break. One of their full backs is getting sent off second half.
