Clearly comes off Bernardo's hand a second before it hit Alexander-Arnold and as we saw with Mane's disallowed goal at Old Trafford, intent doesn't matter when it comes to an attacking player handballing it.

Pep should be more worried most of his team didn't turn up at Anfield, again.

It usually goes something like this

‘Wow what a game but before we analyse all the goals let’s talk about the controversial sticking point that changed the game!’

Can we stop the hate and trolling its pathetic, you see it week in, week out here. Gamerforever and mommy stick to the old lesson, 'if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.' it's that simple, others just ignore the baiting. Can we not just discuss the games, without the trolling? Yes a bit of rivalry is good. But biterness is terrible. I'm starting to dislike spurs a lot more due to your toxic attitude gamer forever, before I would have said that they were my second favourite 'top' team, not sure now though!

Not sure why this is in inverted commas as it definitely happened? Also I thought he played in the final also?

No, that's Lovren. I don't know who Lovern is. Maybe played for Belgium.

So the PGMOL (refs association?) have said if City had scored from the incident then it would have been ruled out because of Silva’s handball, but it’s not a factor in whether or not it should have been a penalty.

What kind of double standard nonsense is that

There’s a lot of odd rules like that popping up now in football. It’s all getting very confusing and ridiculous. It all seemed so simple before the 00s when they started messing with various rules.

It's like the ridiculous case with the offside rule, you could be clearly offside, but not flagged so play can continue and score and it'll be ruled out, but if the defending team have to concede a corner because you've not been flagged, you still get the corner

The actual title is "World's greatest defender" Dejan Lovren ;)

Glad Citeh didn't turn up, Liverpool stewing over that for 2 weeks before Selhurst? Not for me Clive...

Though Liverpool were pretty cynical with some of their fouls, how Mane didn't get a yellow for his I'm not sure...

If Silva's handball(which was accidental) had favourably benefitted City - it would have been penalized. It didn't so it wasn't.

Not sure what Alexander-Arnold would have been able to do to get his hand out of the way, but it's dumb how that happening at the other end would have ruled it out.

?? Pure conjecture on the ref being biased and Salah was onside via Stones leg...

Eh?

I'm saying I didn't think it was a handball but I don't like the current inconsistent rule on an attacking handball offence vs a defensive one.

Also, that on first impression (and the only replay that seemed to be shown at the time) it looked like Salah might have been offside. That's all.

Yeah it doesnt seem right, But do they just go back until the last time the ball was out of play? So anything in that period of play wouldnt have happened after the initial handball had been given?

Yes. And didnt the van Dijk handball come off the attackers hand first, too? They didnt seem to want to show that on sky....no surprise there like.

You have to hand it to City, listening to 606 on Sunday confirmed they are all united within the Salt and Conspiracies. Fans, players and Manager all as one, impressive.
