Saving this quote for when Ole takes charge of the recently-relegated Liverpool in 2034 8-)

Well then they wouldn't be a Premier League club....

He's not going to get a top club after a decade out of football management.

He made very poor career decisions, opting to wait for a job he felt appropriate for him, rejecting Championship/relegation scrap jobs that would have kept his career ticking and in the window for that top job he wanted.

I think Dan was being satirical.

Absolutely not. I completely expect the Arsenal board to appoint Alan Curbishley within the next 48 hours. You heard it here first #itk

Newly-appointed Premier League chief executive David Pemsel has resigned before starting the job.

Pemsel was appointed in October, and was due to start in February, but has stood down following newspaper allegations about his private life.

That went well then

I wonder what the allegations were, struggling to find anything online...

I mean, he sounds pretty desperate, a true lad wouldn't have been begging and would already have done the deed legendarily.

I wonder if the wife knew before the story broke?

Losing your job and ruining your marriage on the same day.

I’ve got absolutely no sympathy for him if it’s true.

Why do so many absolute arseholes manage to find their way to the top?

Wow, what a final ten minutes.

KDB win the 82nd mind with a goal of the season contendor on the volley and then Shelvey responds in the 88th min with a top corner job.

More points lost for City though...not going to even finish second at this rate.
