Decent servant that should have gone years ago, I'm sure he'll enjoy his time in Milan. Bye!

Let's hope Milan offer him a great package with a hefty signing bonus - plus all the Italian bird poo he can eat.

At vastly reduced wages at the very least, I hope.

Man United keep cycling through managers but the problem is clear as day: they have an accountant making football decisions.

He's clearly excelled on the commercial side of the business, there's no denying that, but that doesn't mean he should be anywhere near the football side.

They need a Director of Football to take over and handle these decisions.

Ashley Young rejects an offer from United.

So let him go!

Merry Christmous Everyone wrote:2 year offer incoming.

Would be reminiscent of one of my favourite Football Thread moments when, after several posts of discussing John Obi Mikel's shortcomings as a Premier League footballer, Chelsea inexplicably announced he had signed a new five year deal.

Bad news for Spurs, but that's potentially a great winter break for him to be totally fresh for England in the Euros. Maybe a bit too long, but he'll have a good four or five club games left in the season to gain fitness.

Edit: cheers for the title idea as well :slol:

He's not really been right for ages, a break will hopefully do him good.

Honestly can't see anything wrong with the decision that was made re: Declan Rice handball.

The change of handball rule means that any contact that results in a goal will rule it out...

Of course, if the shot had been saved or missed, nothing would have been done. Which shows the rule is daft really.

Yeah I don't think anyone thinks the application of the rule is wrong, it's the rule itself that is stupid.
