Unlucky that. I don't think Palace deserved anything and although I think it was a red card or at least why it was given it was a bit unfortunate as Aubameyang isn't a dirty player so I don't think there was any intent, hopefully he isn't trying to keep himself injury free during January :shifty:

Still a lot of positives to take from the game, the Arsenal of just a few weeks ago would have capitulated after the red card but we very nearly won.

That's Leicester out of the title race.

City could win every game left in the season. Leicester can't.

Abject today. Most players couldn't even do the basics, we sat back when we should have been pressing. Felt like the defence and goalie were the only ones doing what they were told.

Is there another team with a longer dry spell for hat-tricks than Manchester United? Sick of it.

Origi will be remembered for his timely heroics last season but this squad has moved a long way beyond him now. Even when brought on for 10 minutes at the end to hold things up he looks a bit of a liability.

He'll occasionally have a great game but as the first choice backup for the front 3 he's not good enough.

Mega 3pts that, one of the toughest games of the season out the way.

Tottenham really should have put away one of those chances towards the end. :fp:

Liverpool rumble on but spurs really need to sort themselves out or they'll be lucky to stay as high up as they are now

Those goals in the Derby mean nothing then eh?

Origi a liability, Jesus Christ. :fp:

Hard earned point for Newcastle just a shame theres so mamy injuries plaguing the team but with the January transfer window hopefully Ashley splashes some cash and brings in some new players to help keep the team up

Mourinho a banana split as always. The sooner Tottenham get rid of him the sooner they'll get back to where they've been in the last few seasons.

This.

While he's not at the standard of the first choice front three, he's a perfectly good squad member who can and has contributed to this teams success. He's averaging a goal or assist every 106 minutes or so in the league and europe so far, which are pretty good numbers for someone who doesn't start too many.

Where's do people pick up their football shirts these days?

Everybody is focusing on the handball, but it's a foul regardless, Rice barges into the defender who plays the ball first.

Also, I don't have any issue with the rule change. I don't think you should be able to use your hand to your advantage in the build up to a goal, accidental or otherwise. The defender makes an excellent challenge, why should Rice benefit from blocking it with his hand?

At last, some sense online.

Accidental or otherwise - if you gain an advantage through using your hand it's a foul. Any player could argue unintentionality even for the most blatant handballs.

Bournemouth have the whiff of relegation about them.

Pearson’s Watford turn around is really quite something.

To be honest I was just quite happy for a VAR decision to go for us rather than against us! Imagine Villa fans feel slightly disgruntled though as although while it was a foul/handball, watching it in real time it looked like a fair, well worked goal.

Watford are doing really well recently, that must make them 4 wins from 5 now?
