I wonder if that means Stones is on the way out?

To be honest, I'm not sure there's much difference between Ake and Stones.

Happy with Lallana? If he stays fit I think he's an excellent signing, and leave Duffy Alone! :x

Shane Duffy? The sooner he strawberry floats off out of English football, the better. I genuinely can’t think of a contemporary player I dislike more. I even like Alfredo Morelos better than him. :slol:

Yeah very, provided he stays fit, he is the sort of skillful player we needed in the middle.

I like Duffy, he's been great for the club and was crucial in getting us to the PL, but he isn't going to get much game time next season, less than this season even because he isn't one for ball control which is what Potter wants. I want him to leave but only so he will get back to playing regular football.

Why?

EDIT:

Wikepedia:
On 1 September 2014, Duffy joined Blackburn Rovers, on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.[15] Duffy lost out to Sam Byram after making it to the final 3-man shortlist for the December 2015 Championship Player of the Month.

:?:

In August 2016, during a league match against Cardiff City, Duffy scored 2 own goals and was later sent off in the final minutes of the game.

On 26 August 2016, Duffy signed a four-year deal with Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee. Earlier the same day, it had been reported by The Mirror that the transfer cost the Seagulls a club record fee of £4 million, after turning down an extension to his contract at Blackburn Rovers.

There it is.

I'm a big fan of Ake, wanted him at spurs so it will be interesting to see how well he does at City if he goes there.

It’s one of the scummiest, most self serving things I’ve ever seen a footballer do, if I’m completely honest. We’d turned down a transfer request and he did that to force the move through costing us two points, then we were relegated on goal difference at the end of that season.

I must be clear have no issue with a player wanting to leave, especially that season - we were rudderless (Owen Coyle :dread: ), totally on the slide and Brighton were hot favourite to go up that year - but the manner in which he pushed the transfer through left an awful taste in the mouths of most people.

It doesn’t harm my case that he’s a homophobic, cheating, nasty little horror of a man.

Homophobic language

The other man in Katie Price’s third marriage

This debacle.

I just watched those own goals and sending off. Looks pretty deliberate. Why did he not get into more trouble for that?

Isn't Ake one of those technically home grown players as well? Came through at Chelsea I think.

Certainly been one of the better defenders in the low end of the league over the years at Bournemouth. Though I've also seen him be terrible. Hard to tell if he can make the step up to top end of the league.

How can you prove it? It’s blatantly obvious what happened but all he has to do is say “Aw sorry lads I’ve had a shocker there” and then strawberry float off to Brighton with wads full of sign-on bonus cash sticking out of his ears to ignore the shouting Rovers fans behind him.

But I’m not bitter. :shifty:

Fifa president Gianni Infantino faces Swiss criminal proceedings

Federal public prosecutor finds ‘indications of criminal conduct’
Infantino has described investigation into meetings as ‘absurd’

The proceedings follow an investigation by the prosecutor, Stefan Keller, into complaints regarding meetings between Infantino, Swiss attorney general Michael Lauber and the chief public prosecutor of the Upper Valais, Rinaldo Arnold.

...

Lauber and Infantino met twice in 2016, the year Infantino was elected Fifa president.

I wonder how long before Saudi Arabia/somewhere similarly dodgy offer FIFA the chance of set up their HQ within its borders...

Whatever happened to all the FIFA/UEFA corruption stuff? Feels like nothing of tangible value ever came from it?

Thiago A is 29 and injury prone. Its a gamble. Hopefully for Liverpool and us watching he continues to be luckier like he was this season.

Also just saw that scratch that he missed quite a few games this season with injury :fp:

Is that a replica top or the same type that the players actually wear in games? If it's the later then yeah, they're very expensive.
