United were punished for their wastefulnes, should have been 3-1 up but Ole decided to keep Fred on at HT and the attackers forgot how to finish. Ah well, just have to go and smash Leipzig in their back garden.

Agreed.

Is Giroud one of the most underrated players ever? I feel like he never got the recognition he deserved at Arsenal and he has been a second thought at Chelsea, despite consistently delivering when needed.

I'd swap Lacazette for him in a heartbeat if the opportunity came up in January :shifty:

I'd do the same he scored in big games for us even though we generally lost them lol

Yeah, we were trying to replace him almost from the time he arrived but he kept making his way back into the team.

Although after sleeping on it I don't think I would take him because history dictates that if Chelsea were willing to let us have him we shouldn't want him  :dread:

Why did Arsenal sell Giroud and especially to a rival club?

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Though they're rivals technically I think from a business POV the two clubs have a decent relationship.

I think Giroud wanted regular playing time before the World Cup so wanted out and I assume wanted to stay in London. If I recall we had signed Lacazette the summer before and we signed Auba in the January that Giroud left so he was at least third choice.

Supporting an apposing club, I am more scared of Giroud than Lacazette/Pepe tbh.

Slightly off topic but when Liverpool won the league, in my glee I subscribed to LFCTV through my sky box. I got a good month out of it with documentary's and stuff.

When I went to the Sky Ireland website, navigate to my account and packages and hit button to remove LFCTV i got the 404 no page error, for the past 3months the same on Safari, Chrome, Edge and firefox. Got rid of it now by calling (minefield to get number) but that's a bit dodgy right?

Outstanding work ethic too. He got criticism for not having any shots on target in the World Cup which was completely unfair, because what he did do, with his work rate and physical presence is give Mbappe and Griezmann the platform they needed to excel.

To be fair Pepe plays pretty well against you, he's scored a couple. I know what you mean though.

Lacazette bang on cue making me look like a dickhead for slagging him off

We had to sell Giroud to get Aubameyang so it was a no brainier for us.

I might start only watching Arsenal when we play on a Thursday.

United are very sloppy and all over the place so far.

Pogba has been absolutely woeful. Sell him in the Summer transfer.
