It could also be said to be what commentators love to say is hitting a ball too well

Klopp going back after Dyche in the tunnel was hi-larious / pathetic.

Flashbacks to Andy Townsend with the "he's almost hit that too well" comment he used to make.

What was the Dyche/Klopp thing about? I only saw a clip, but Klopp seemed to be going mental. :dread:

And I hate Burnley (don't mind Sean Dyche), but it's always good to see some of the arrogant and entitled Liverpool fans brought down to earth a bit. It's been a crazy run they've had at Anfield, but their form at the moment is awful.

This season's weird, not just with some of the results and how close it is, but that everyone's so reactionary (even more than usual it seems). I've already seen people claim that Liverpool are now out of the title race, or that it's a two horse race between the two Manchester clubs. A couple of weeks ago people were talking about Arsenal being in a relegation fight, but they're only 7 points behind Liverpool. And it seems like whenever a club is top - regardless of for how long - articles immediately get published on them being title contenders. We've seen it with Everton, Spurs, Leicester, and Man U. I remember people saying a while back how Everton were going to be fighting for the title with Liverpool. A season is a long time in football, especially 20/21 it seems.

What's going on at Brighton that their former first choice (and mostly decent) keeper is going to Arsenal?

I know there was some talk a month or two ago about some dressing room or training ground bust ups.

Paging Drummy to the thread.

never even heard that we were even in for Ryan, but I am happy with the signing, a good choice to have as a back up to Leno.

Good friend who's a Brighton fan says it's a good deal, he's a bit shorter than Leno but dependable enough. The idea of Runarrson fills me with dread...

Good cover for Arsenal for sure. He's a decent keeper.

There are a lot of rumours for the reasons why, but he has fallen out with Potter due to his declining form. Can't remember the precise numbers but he's conceded more goals this season than saves made.

One of the rumours I heard was that in the dressing room at half-time in the Fulham game (the first game he was dropped for), he was offering supporting words to the team. Potter's response to this was allegedly words to the effect of "If I want your input I'll ask for it".

Since then he's been frozen out.

Graham Potter has a Master's in leadership and emotional intelligence so Ryan must have been an absolute nightmare....

That shows how fragile our upturn in form is. Pepe and Willian on the pitch together is such a high concentration of dogshit it actually sucks up the quality of the rest of the team along the concentration gradient, but equilibrium can never be reached. And that's science, you can't argue with that.

Glad i missed the game and went for a mtb ride, did we have 2 goalies on the bench. Time is up for Pepe and Willian now.
