Leeds are somehow 2/1 to win at home vs. Arsenal. If I was still a betting man I'd probably chuck a tenner on it.

Patrick Bamford looks like the lead singer of a band who's taking Soccer Aid quite seriously this year.

I know it's early in the season but it does look like it's 3 from 4 to be relegated from the current bottom 4 considering the gap already.

Newcastle are always good for a wobble, bit it's already 8 points to them.

Superb result that. Going to be a tough few weeks. Nice to have that big gap to City but it's pretty clear the league is wide open this year. Injuries will cost us points at some point but great show from the lads tonight.

Excellent game and win by the lads, even with the injuries

Cantered to that win yesterday. I was surprised at Evra and Ljungberg thinking Liverpool would drop points before the match, in fact everyone seemed to think this. I was pretty confident despite the injuries we'd win. Matip and Fabinho play well in defence and Jota has been a revelation since we bought him.

Plus side is that Thiago, Trent, Hendo and Oxlade are on way back and Salah's 14day isolation will be up by next weekend (plus he gets a 2 week rest) so hopefully we can be even stronger again.

The only injury that would ever matter to Liverpool is Milner. As long as he remains fit then you're laughing as the guy can cover basically anyone!

Played out exactly how the same game last year did on Boxing Day. Leicester bigged up to no end and then Liverpool do what Liverpool do.

Leicester were terrible though.

You'll be fine next weekend, the one player of ours that could trouble you picked up two yellows on Saturday.

Has your team not won a game in a while?

Has your star striker not scored this century?

Never fear, Palace are here!

(I'd said at work beforehand it was either a 0-0 or 1-0 Burnley, so predictable in our uselessness  )

Sorry, was in the wrong thread!

strawberry float Burnley.

Why does Townsend insist in trying to bang it in from 30 yards out 5 times a game? I know he scores a belter once in a while but for strawberry float sake.

Did someone murder Solskjaer's whole family right before the game?

Nice stat of the day ( Not going to happen tomorrow )

Haaland has had 91 shots on target in his professional career. He has scored 70 goals. #OptaFin
