Nice to have squad depth, eh?

Might be good for Villa, but given our record against them (we haven't beaten Man U in the league at Villa Park since 1995 :slol: ) I'm still not optimistic.

I am so sick of us playing stupid little tiki taka gooseberry fool across the back five. Yeah we scored a couple of good goals last season in the cup with it but we usually just invite trouble.

Edit: Villarreal did it immediately after and we put them under the exact same pressure. It's stupid!

The way Arsenal pass the ball about is so frustrating to watch it's slow and inaccurate from 5 yards away. :fp:

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

We have to overhaul a five point gap (and game in hand) to get to seventh and the Europa Conference don't we? Yeah that ain't gonna happen. I'm assuming United winning the EL doesn't give England any extra spots.

At least my weeknights are guaranteed to be free, it's been twenty-five years since that was the case. I think Virgin have been trying to call me to offer me BT Sport as well - you're alright there love!

I got a free Panini Euro 2020 sticker album this week (WH Smith's if anyone's interested), and glancing at it it seemed we have barely any players in it. It's a directory of the best European players - we should have shitloads of them. I know we have a couple of Brazilians in the squad and a bit of an African contingent but it's a bit of a barometer as to how we've fallen.

Just absolutely done with this season. Can't really be frigged with the rest of it. The football is turgid, our players are inconsistent, our manager is braindead and our owners have brought a level of shame on this club I didn't think possible. Just strawberry float right off.

Yep, they should be made to go on a nationwide apology tour of the nation's pubs.
Line them all up at every pub and make them all proclaim how sorry they are for potentially making them all unemployed :x .

Let me make a few calls but I'm pretty sure I can find a few pubs-worth of people willing to sit in a pub and support a team playing against Man United...

We're going to be in the second round of the Carabao Cup, that's probably the biggest insult of all :dread:

It's a good chance of silverware for smaller clubs though.

I thought we were bad, but arsenal really are a mid table team now. Hopefully kroenke stays put!

https://arseblog.news/2021/05/arsenal-a ... er-league/

A share (presumably a twelfth) of a €15m combined fine and 5% of our earnings next time we qualify for Europe (so 5% of nothing :slol:).

I'm not at all surprised we accepted that punishment! Seems from that article that some of the other clubs are digging in though (assuming the Spanish ones and Juve). Would be utterly hilarious if they talked themselves into a harsher punishment...
