Talks have reportedly broken down between Spurs and Fonseca, so they've now turned to... Gennaro Gattuso. :slol:

I would happily stick with Mason.

Gattuso quit Fiorentina the other day, 23 days after signing a contract with them, after he was told he couldn't sign the players his agent (Jorge Mendes) wanted. He wasn't due to begin his contract until 1st July.

If he does get the Spurs job, I can't see him lasting long.

I wonder if Levy will have the stones to stand up to Mendes.

Wonder how glowy feels about the return of Young to Villa. That was who he absolutely lost his gooseberry fool about right?

I thought that was about Fabian Delph?

EDIT - I definitely didn’t know Delph was at Everton.

For all he's played he might as well not be.

News is that he won't bother trying as they're not hiring Gattuso.

Rules out Nuno too in theory. It's quite amusing seeing Palace fans losing their rag over not having hired anyone yet given that Everton and Spurs are in the same boat.

I don't think many Villa fans have much against Young. There was a time when he kissed the Man U badge in front of Villa fans after scoring, but that's about all I can think of that riles some. Delph was the one most people lost their gooseberry fool about.

Bit of a bizarre signing, but not the worst. Will be bizarre seeing him alongside the likes of Grealish, feels like they're from different eras of the game.

Apparently the supporter club protested about the possibly of Gattuso (although I don’t know why this guy kept getting manager jobs?! So far he’s done nothing good in his manager career.) that forces Tottenham to come out and put a statement that they wouldn’t pursue him.

Liverpool star Sadio Mane has spent more than £450,000 to help fund the building of a hospital in his home village of Bambaly in the African country of Senegal.

Mane has frequently funded infrastructure projects in the village, previously helping to construct a secondary school and having a supermarket named after him. The winger frequently travels back to his home nation during the summer at the end of the season, with this year being no different.

And after building the school and the supermarket, Mane has turned his attention to the construction of a new hospital for Bambaly and the surrounding area. According to Spanish news outlet AS, the new hospital will serve the 34 villages that surround his home town.

I'm sure the Daily Mail and Co are working out how to make the story negative.
