Hendo is so underrated, it's bizarre.

Southgate hates Grealish too.

Henderson plays that role that tends to be underrated in general.

It never helped though that when he first joined Liverpool he seemed extremely desperate to become Steven Gerrard V2. Add in his enjoyment of passing sideways and it all adds up.

Good to see England are back to being gooseberry fool

For Liverpool fans:

Jota for Portugal on fire, 2 goals, 1 Assist. MOTM. He started as a replacement for Ronaldo.

His second goal is basically a Mane cut and paste.

You obviously don't watch a lot of Liverpool which is fair enough.

Not sure why when replacing a striker, Southgate should bring on Grealish, a midfielder, instead of DCL, a striker.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

But if you're playing that striker out on the wing, wouldn't it be better to have someone who's used to playing on the wing instead, i.e. Grealish?
DCL should've come on for Kane, and used his strength of poaching in and around the box, not playing on the flank as a winger.

Also, I actually felt sorry for Maguire. He's an average CB, playing in a system that doesn't suit him, with a massive price tag which has haunted him since his move to Man U (and which he had no say over), and he's clearly got something/several things going on in his head, whether football related or not. Plenty of abuse aimed his way on social media, even before last night. The expression on his face when he got the second yellow told its own story, and it was more than someone just disappointed at being sent off. I think Gary would've been better off resting him than putting him out there to make more mistakes and feel worse about himself. Ignoring him as he walked off wouldn't have helped things either I don't expect.

Utter scum. Same goes for any player who’d do the same thing, though I’d never say it to Roy Keane’s face.

Weird thing to admit to. Not very newsworthy and makes himself look like a prick.

What an absolute banana split. He should be fined for assault for that.

Getting the derby day nerves now, strawberry floating hate them. Can't see beyond a comfortable win for them, either. Key squad members our with Coronavirus, no fans, a leaky defence and an opponent who has conceded something like two goals in ten games domestically must surely add up to a pummelling.

Looked like Liverpool were running away with it. The offside saved Pickford and cost liverpool. If the challenge on VVD had been in play it would have resulted in a pen and at least a yellow.
No way back then.
Instead we now have two attacking teans and two suspect defences. Liverpool still look more threatening but have missed good chances.

Anyone's game right now

Scrappy game.

Liverpool working hard and sharper. We're riding our luck a little and need to try and deal with Liverpool's press better - easier said then done.

Don't think Gomes is playing well.

Awful tackle by Pickford. Not intentional but typical of the brain farts he's having lately.

I hate to say this but they've been better in most areas of this game, and probably deserve their one goal lead. Nice of Shane Duffy to play Goldson onside for their goal too.

Oh and to weigh in on the Henderson debate. How are we still having one?
An integral part of the team and a big factor in their recent success. A player that every team needs.
I hate the banana split. Thats the biggest compliment i can give.
He's answered all his detractors in the last few seasons.
Sadly.
