I think my favourite thing about it is that the Dutch language appears to have no phrase for "what a miss..."

(Apologies if that's actually Flemish)

Martinez could end up being a great signing by Villa. He looked very good for Arsenal last season.

Also please let the rumours of Bale to Spurs be true. Whilst it would involve a hell of a lot of money (even if real foot half his wages) and he will likely be out injured half the time but he belongs at Tottenham dammit.

I'd love to see Bale back at Spurs. He's still a great player and will want to show that and anything that makes the teams near the top more competitive is a great thing

Thiago Here We Go!

Move is not linked with any other midfielder leaving!

Good to see Villa sign yet another goalkeeper. We seem to try and sign one every window. Martinez should be good though - a solid transfer I think.

Would be good to see Bale back in the PL. Would make sense for Spurs as well, as they look tired and jaded at the moment, and in need of something to liven things up a bit.

Disappointed to see Martinez go, but no hard feelings towards him. Gotta admire a player who isn't happy to just sit on the bench and wants to push to be number one for his club and country and there was no way we'd have kept both Leno & Emi this year.

Is there anything in the rules that says you can't play more than one keeper?
Obviously nobody does but I've often wondered if in 2 leged games and all you have to do is not let loads in just bung an extra keeper or 2 on and park the bus real hard.

gooseberry fool for the fans but screw it, we want silverware.
