Gutted we threw away that win against West Ham after dominating the first half. Credit to them from coming back at the end so well.

Unsure how to feel about this season. Our position in the table is not representative of the performances we have put in and whilst it's still early days the team needs to start getting wins under their belts. We've got West Brom at the Amex next weekend and that is an absolute must win.

I obviously hope VVD is back as soon as possible and has no long lasting ill effects from this injury, but Sadio Mane forearm smashed Kieran Tierney a few weeks ago and it was all gooseberry fools and giggles to you. It's only down to luck KT didn't get a serious injury.

Mane’s arm slips off his shoulder onto his neck, he didn’t catch his face. He never looked, he was holding him off, he literally does the same thing throughout the game but holds others off at shoulder. You obviously get triggered about me and Liverpool for some reason but don’t twist what I said. It has nothing to do with Pickford in terms of culpability.

It was a disgraceful challenge and he should have been sent off. Everyone defends their own players. Photek does it more than most. But hes passionate and fair with it.

It's funny you mention KT playing on. Thiago completed the match after Richarlison's tackle - was that not a red then? Or is waiting till a player gets seriously injured before you deal with violent conduct a really stupid way to ensure player safety? Most players get back up after being on the end of a red card tackle, and very few face prolonged spells out. This is a good thing! (By the way, I don't have the stats to back that assertion up, so I'd like to take this time to point out that this is conjecture. Pointing out that someone who is forearm smashed by a player - who was not even looking according to you - could easily receive a serious injury is not conjecture, it is basic anatomy.)

Should Pickford have been sent off? Yeah, probably. It was a wild lunge from a player whose head is in completely the wrong place. A month out of the spotlight would probably have done him some good in all honesty. But at the same point the ball has fallen to VVD in the six yard box so Pickford absolutely has to challenge him somehow - it is his primary job on the football pitch. So whilst he has done a terrible job of it (quelle surprise) I've actually got a lot more time for the intentions behind his tackle than I have for Mane leaving one on an opposition player when the ball's going out for a throw.

I said to you after our game that you'd feel very differently if the shoe was on the other foot, and here we are. Your player needs surgery, their player gets away with one, and you're crying.
