Derby's only win in that lowest scoring season was 1-0 v Newcastle :shifty:

I’d class it as 9 points, just need to try and keep some momentum going! Other results need to go our way as well of course.

You want to get more than 11 at least.

Well ideally we’ll stay up but it’s going to be stupidly close and I think that’s if we have a good run for a while against mid/lower table teams. Not expecting to get anything against Spurs or Man United whom we’ve got in the next 2 or 3 games.

Damn that was a slog, Burnley are such tough bastards. 3 very hard-earned points :toot:

Top of the league at this stage for the first time since 2012, that is a horrific stat

I thought it was 2017?

Anyway, I'm glad we fought hard three points and Pogba looks class tonight.

If we beat Liverpool and it'll be six points clear. :toot:

Ill be honestly amazed if United win the league. Itll be as impressive as Van Persie dragging United to the title back in the day.

Beating Liverpool on the weekend would make things very interesting.

I'm not convinced they have it in them to go all season but a 6 point lead at the half way point is definitely a strong foundation.

Manchester United won't win the league :slol: No gooseberry fool. A porous defence and inconsistent attack make that prediction somewhat redundant. It also makes it difficult to enjoy being at the top. But to get to the top they're finally doing what they've failed to do on so many occasions: won when others above them have failed to do so. It's a small but welcome step in the right direction.

If you can't enjoy being top of the PL you need a new hobby

Yeah I think you have to look at the reality of the situation which is that at this point in time United are somewhat overachieving whilst others are faltering, it's unlikely that same set of circumstances will remain for the rest of the season, but I do think they'll get a better points total than they did last year.

I'm a glass half empty (the glass is also cracked) kind of guy.

Now if Ole bought a quality defender...

edit: oh and the Maguire disallowed goal, saw that coming games ago. It's one thing putting a hand on the defender's shoulder or back, it's something else entirely when you press your whole forearm into them :fp: He's not smart enough to get away with it.
