What are you crying about this time? I can't talk about Liverpool, I can't make a joke about Manu... any other rules for me?

EDIT: I forgot not allowed to criticize England in any way despite several other people saying literally the same things but I'm Irish so it must be a troll.

Rule One: only talk about Xbox

Rule Two: see rule one

:toot: Indeed. Hoping this new Sporting Director knows his stuff! (I believe he has a good track record).

He appears to so far. Toby has just left for Qatar as well. Hopefully give us enough room in the wage budget for Romero.

Guéhi and Andersen are two decent signings for Palace.

2 or 3 more should tide us over nicely. Shame Olise is injured already

Looking forward to seeing how Guehi does in the PL. He was fantastic for us, could be a great signing.

In other news, Celtic are f**ked. Team is in transition, older players leaving and no real talent coming in to replace.

Laughing through the tears... They got knocked out of CL qualifying last night.....?

We don't have an SPL thread do we? Was discussing it with my Brother who's not looking forward to the upcoming season earlier and the extra pep in the Gers' supporters step this morning...

We used to, but it's really only me and ianf who watch it now. Probably Prototype as well as I know he's a Hearts man, but he doesn't post too frequently.

Transition periods are normal after an extended period of dominance, but it feels like the Celtic board have accepted mediocrity with their managerial appointment and recruitment for the next season. It's...difficult to criticise too much after four consecutive trebles and I accept rebuilding is necessary at times, but there are definitely failures in management that need to be addressed.

We're apparently getting £21.5m for Edouard from Brighton(which is robbery, sorry Drummy) so the real test of our ambition will come from whether we spend that money on the goalkeeper, striker and centre back that we desperately need or whether it's used to fill the UCL pit.

Also, I feel awful for Ange Postecoglou. He seems like a nice big fella who has absolutely no idea what he's let himself in for, and he feels like someone who has been absolutely set up to fail by the board. Hopefully I'm wrong, but we'll see...

Any chance you could give us £20m for Buchanan so we stand a chance of getting out of League One next season?

Of course every team ends up needing a rebuild but I've never known my bro to be so despondent before. The new manager only has a year contract which looks bad, kind of like a sacrificial lamb of sorts. I mean, is Edouard going to leave still? I presume Joe Hart is a step up at least in the keeper front.

Hart's shite though, don't want him at all even though Barkas and Bain are honking. Not a step up in the least.

Celtic always give out one-year contracts to managers - even Rodgers only got an initial twelve-month spell. It's probably the worst Celtic team I've seen since I started watching football regularly in about 2000. I have absolutely no expectation of silverware this year and to be honest congratulate Rangers on their double or treble.

Definitely wouldn't say Hart's a step up!

Root for Celtic in Europe but christ that was a poor result. If not unexpected. Not checked the odds but Rangers must be a clear favourite this year.

Rangers are 1/2

You can get about 3/1 on Celtic

So yep, clear favourites.

Actually, those Celtic odds are boosted, so it's a bit less. Still though.
