Meanwhile, Juventus Women's twitter account did a racist:

It's 2021 ffs, I mean it's almost impressive how racist that is. I don't even know what the purpose of the tweet is, it's just so random and... racist, strawberry float  :dread: :fp:

The team apologized and said it was, "not meant to cause controversy or have any racial undertones."

What.

I think that's Italian for "it was just banter"

It is incredibly racist to most of us but in Italy I guarantee a lot of people (not all) will be shrugging their shoulders saying what's the problem? Different cultures have very different attitudes towards this kind of thing. Many Asia cultures are heavy into racial stereotypes as a basis of humour and bewildered by our offended stance to some things like this. See the South Korean Olympics coverage.

Even Spain as another example have a racist (in our eyes) underlying sense of humour.

Of course we aren't perfect and there are plenty of people in this country who won't see any issue with things like this.

Pep has ruled out signing Messi but he did say they still want Kane. :dread:

What an absolute shocker of a list this is

That Watford shirt is awful, it should be dead last. This guy has it at number 1...

They are a terrible set of kits, but yeah that's also an awful list!

I've never been able to understand what makes a good kit good, or a bad kit bad. Might as well ask me to rate Fast food outlet uniforms.

Edit - I'm repeating myself.

I can see how, from certain angles, our home kit looks a bit Ajaxesque. However it's a lot less pronounced when the shirt is on as opposed to lying flat, and we did actually have a shirt just like this from 1998-2000, so it's not without precedent (the blue trim sets it off slightly better though):

Agree that the Watford kit is an abomination - Watford kits are always horrible though. Liverpool's kit is weird and jarring IRL, the orange trim is too much. Chelsea's shirt is empirically horrible. City's is almost too dark, but I do like the shirt numbers. Tottenham's is...fine I suppose? It's just a white shirt though, are there any details along the collar or cuffs?

I've said before, the away kits this year are generally of a much higher standard than the home shirts. Apart from Man City's third, obvs.

So Kane has released a statement saying he's due back in training on Saturday and that was always the case. Denies refusing to train. Make of that what you will.

Harry Kane: Tottenham striker says he would never refuse to train and will return to club on Saturday - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58122156

He says the Arsenal kit is an invert of Ajax's kit when it's not.

Watford kit being at number 1 makes the whole thing redundant anyway. The size of their sponsor is ridiculous.

Spurs have signed centre back Cristian Romero from Atalanta for knocking on £50m. Allegedly he's pretty good but I've heard this before with our defender signings.

Cristian Romero: Tottenham complete deal for Atalanta defender for about £47m - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58077281
