Be a silly move for Potter in footballing terms in my opinion.

I wouldn't be surprised if the club offer Potter another extended contract soon. He's already signed on to 2025.

Right - All Stars Prem VS Citys best 11. Who are you picking? 443 and obviously no city players.

GK-Alisson
RB - Trent
CB - VVD Rudiger
LB - Robbo
CDM - Fabinho
CM Kante - B.Fernandes
RW - Salah
LW-Son
Striker - Ronaldo

Bonus points for doing one without players from the traditional top 6.

GK-Martinez
RB - Trippier
CB - Coady - Diop
LB - Digne
CDM - Rice
CM - Tielemans - Maddison
RW - Raphinia
LW- ASM
Striker - Antonio.

It’s a bit of cheat playing 443, isn’t it?

Why?

Edit - Be as weird as you like with formations then.

I think an extra player is reasonable if you're playing against Man City.

Liverpool rode their luck a little beating Brentford, a couple of mistakes lead to 2 of the goals. It'll be interesting to see how they play against Manu on Wednesday.

GK-Alisson Mendy
RB - Trent
CB - VVD Rudiger Varane
LB - Robbo
CDM - Fabinho
CM Kante - B.Fernandes
RW - Salah
LW-Son
Striker - Ronaldo Vardy

Few tweaks to the formation to add some firepower up top and strength at the back

I was joking because 443 would give you an extra player, I assume you meant 433?

I hadn't even heard he was arrested or even sent to prison at all. This is good news. I'm actually shocked it's not a suspended sentence like usual for these offences.

Captain Kinopio wrote:What do Villa fans think of Gerrard so far?

Largely positive so far. We should've beaten Brentford, but I think on the whole things have improved. Certain players are playing better, some good signings (Coutinho still feels slightly surreal) and an overall improvement in the feeling around the club I think. Gerrard seems to have high standards and expectations (in terms of attitude, performance, etc) which is good, and a clear vision as well. We've had some tough fixtures lately, and some disappointing results in there, but our next games are Everton, Leeds, Newcastle, Watford, Brighton, and Southampton, and I'd feel confident going into all of those. We still make too many errors for my liking, and we give the ball away so much, but things are moving in the right direction I think.

Also rumours that Jose could be on their list, which shows how far his stock has fallen.
