You should have quoted the person most likely to buy that stuff.

Expecting a lot of the kids to play tonight - Keep an eye on Kaide Gordon that we nabbed from Derby. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get some Prem time later on in the year.

Also - DAZN are buying BT sport. So that's going to be fun.

Does it mean anything for UK viewers?

Seems like DAZN is "the Netflix of Sport" so it'll go to streaming service I guess. Currently coats £7.99 pcm but I doubt that'll that'll the same if they buy the PL rights.

Edit: For example it's 30 euros in Italy and they have serie a there

I went to Millwall Leicester this evening as I like the EFL Cup and my girlfriend had never had been to a Footballeague Game (has been to Non League level with me before) and had some friends who wanted to come as well.

I've been to the Den as an away fan but never as a home fan despite living a few miles away for the last 10 years or so
It's a bit different from Carrow Road. Smoking in the toilets/concourse/stands (which was incredibly unpleasant). Stewards turning a blind eye to pints in the stands. Free for all on the seating (don't know if this was just because it was a cup game and there was a reasonable amount of free seats). I think if I go again I'll have to sit in the family section.

Also there seemed to be a chant which just involved making white noise.

Went to the Arsenal Wimbledon game. Thought we were a bit unlucky. Arsenal were clearly the better side but a lot of refereeing decisions went against us. There was a clear hand ball to clear one of our corners and a lot of the Arsenal players were diving a lot. That said once they brought Saka on they were like a different side and it was clearly all over.

Eh. After seeing we were playing WHU again, I kind of expected the loss. It's how these double-header fixtures usually seem to play out: win one, lose one, or lose one, win one. Still happy with the 3 points from the weekend leg of the double-header.

Read up on this a bit in the FT. They don't make it sound as clear cut as I was expecting it to be. (The sale doesn't seem to be close to being done and dusted.)

I already subscribe to Dazn for boxing. They have a pretty good set up with on demand and a good app, etc, although until a couple of months ago it was only £1.99 p/m.

Don't they have a chant called the wall of noise or something, which is basically them shouting MEEEEEEL-WAUWWWWW non-stop?

Smoking in the toilets happens everywhere in my experience. To someone not addicted to nicotine I thought it was silly but to be fair it is two hours without a fag which since people simply cannot do! In Estonia they have similar non-smoking rules but in clubs etc they have these air conditioned smoking rooms where you can go to smoke. Seems like a good idea for places like stadia where you can't leave.

Being able to drink in view of the pitch is a great thing and the sooner it's allowed again the better.

Have no problem with beer in the stands but every other ground the stewards stop you. I guess it's the case of if 1 person does it, it can be stopped if enough do it what are you going to do.

I've seen the odd smoker in a toilet before but never the entire room turned into smokers paradise. Maybe it's just that I know where to sit at Carrow Road (but also haven't seen it massively away either)

I remember at one home game at the Emirates the corner I was in just didn't sit down all game and the stewards let it slide (because, as you say, what are they going to do?) It was a great atmosphere, like being in the away end at home

I've long been of the opinion that the beer ban actually promotes binge drinking (two or three before kick off including one squeezed in at the end, down a pint at HT, then on it after the match) and increases crowds in the concourse at half time - which is the problem! Just let me have a beer in my hand to sip at my leisure like I do at the pub

Pretty disappointed with the Man United result last night. That was such a good opportunity for some of the squad players to stake their claim and none of them did. The subs made such a difference when they came on, but it was too little too late.

It's only the Carabao Cup, but Ole badly needs a trophy to point to as a mark of progress and success. United are now on their longest trophy-less streak since 1985-1990, and if he keeps making braindead selections against decent opposition that run will continue.
